Yes, I could write about the high-quality coffee and innovative monthly drink specials because they definitely deserve heaps of praise. I could go on and on about the atmosphere and decor and the unique cryprid theme they have going. Another thing that makes this place awesome. However, the thing that makes this place special and sets it apart from other coffee shops is the staff. Tess (the owner) and every single member of her crew are some of the friendliest, most positive and energetic baristas you will ever meet. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and love their jobs. Their enthusiasm and passion are simply contagious. This coffee shop is nice, but upon being handed my coffee I asked for a straw. The woman told me that they have straws only if I'm staying at the coffee shop and that if I was leaving they couldn't give me a straw. This seemed pretty backwards to me and also a very strange way to word this sentiment. It would've been better off saying they don't have any straws period, but knowing they did and wouldn't provide me one since I was taking my coffee to-go rubs me the wrong way. If this was a waste issue, my to-go coffee is being served in a plastic cup so that would be diabolical. The business itself creates exponentially more waste than a plastic straw possibly could. Very strange treatment toward a paying customer.

Could be cute but not a good vibe when all the tables of 2 are taken by 1 and people in window with no food or drinks are on their computers. Owner was on hers as well sitting at a table when she has an office. Barista was not friendly while making coffee, no smile even or a thank you. Two of us came in ordered coffee and a muffin and had to leave because no room to sit. We sat in our car an hour and watched people go in and come out. The people that were sitting when we went in over an hour never left. Saw some neighbors who wanted to try it out and they said the same thing, walked in and had to leave because of no seating. I thought the coffee was good, but mine at home is just as good. Hubby said no vanilla taste in his latte, he would never go back.
