My girlfriend stopped to pick up lunch for us while I was at work today. She was not pleased with how she was being treated and talked to while she was in the store. She said that one of the employees kept asking her if she had a boyfriend and “if she didn’t have a boyfriend then he would be all over that”. This dude would keep talking to her while the other employees were trying to ask her what she wanted on her sandwiches. He also wouldn’t give her the sandwiches once she paid and insisted he would walk the sandwiches to her car for her. He was just being very weird and made her feel very uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time employees here have made myself and her uncomfortable. We weren’t going to say anything but this dude was being too much. Offering to walk her sandwiches out when she’s already in the store and after asking if she had a boyfriend multiple times is too much and very creepy. This was my go to goodcents in the area but after this experience we will no longer be...
Read moreWent here ahead of going to Theater in the Park. Got my son an Alfredo noodles kids meal and learned once we got there that it was freezing cold. I didn’t expect noodles to be cooked right then and there but I also didn’t think they’d just serve noodles straight from the fridge without heating. I called in thinking this was a mistake but nope... I was told they don’t heat the food but they have a microwave in their dine-in area that I could have used. Learned from my sister-in-law that she had the same thing happen before a Royals game and they noticed it was cold unlike us and were told they could microwave it in the dine-in area. So just FYI, they don’t heat their hot foods for you, you can DIY if you want. Terrible service as they should say “we leave this cold unless requested. Would you like us to heat it?”. Sandwiches were good but I haven’t been to a Goodcents in years and it’ll be years again now And next time I won’t bother with the...
Read moreYesterday is the 3rd time since the stay home order has been in place that my family has utilitarian this location, but this is the first time I personally participated in the transaction process.
My order was placed online and scheduled well in advance of pickup, so I cannot confirm who packages my order, but the clerk who brought the order to my car, was very polite.
However when I got home and was putting my packages away, I thought to myself, these don't feel like a pound, so I got out the digital kitchen scale, and they were not. I weighed each package in the wrapping paper, and not one measured up to a full pound. The closest being 15.9 ounces, the others falling short at 14.5 and 14.2.
How many ounces a day are customers being shorted? Ounces add up to pounds, the same as pennies add up to dollars. That being said, please don't short change the community that...
