Lenoir City is a perfect stopping spot if you are traveling to Pigeon Forge from Chattanooga. The best part about stopping at a Cracker Barrel is the food is consistently good and each location has its own decor of unusual antiques and vintage items, which makes the short wait for food interesting. The front of the restaurant is like a Home Goods with interesting finds in decor and clothes. I tried the French toast for the first time, which was prepared with sourdough bread that had been dipped in beaten eggs and grilled. I was skeptical that the sourdough would add a tartness to the dish, but it perfectly sets up the real Maple syrup that is served warm in a small bottle. Each bite was heaven. It came with 2 eggs and bacon. The bacon was crisp and had a mild smoky flavor. If you are ordering this dish, plan to make it a cheat meal as it comes in at a whopping 1,000 calories, but so worth it. My husband had the 4-piece fried chicken dinner, and it was hot, crispy and not a drip of grease anywhere.

This location use to be good but now I no longer eat there, the last 3 to 4 times we've picked up food most of it wasn't eatable and went in the trash. My last meal my son said it looked like cat puke and it truly did, I was also told that day that curb side pick orders had to be paid for inside that was the only time I've ever been told that ,why would I do curbside pick up if I had to go in the store. My first review was four stars and I didnt change it on the first bad experience I had but now it's been several. I have worked in the food service industry for a long time and have managed a restaurant my wife is a general manager at a restaurant also ,we would have never served food that looked like what received. So my new review is one star and it will not change because we will not go back to this location.

I never thought I'd leave a bad review about Cracker Barrell but here we are. I ordered a hamburger and no tomato and they brought me a hamburger with a tomato. I asked politely to have it taken back and please make another one. They sent it back to me and I noticed the cheese wasn't melted and had two pieces. My wife noticed the ring from the tomato below the cheese and we discovered they just threw a piece over where the tomato was. The hamburger was extremely cold at this point so not paying for that. There must also be some kind of shortage on steak fries because they brought me like 8. The last amazing thing was when they brought out the biscuits and bread they brought us one biscuit, one bread. No butter. No jelly. I hate to be petty but this was a severe miss for Cracker Barrel today.

Well...was one of my favorite go to's... But the other night me and a friend went to CB at about 6:45. We was seated, and young female waited on us .. very polite friendly and tried to be accommodating. But...not her fault....my friend ordered first ...pot roast ..I think but not sure it was that days main course special....out of it...........he wants to look a little more at the menu and I waited myself...she brought 2 teas and Bread....he ordered the pot pie....out of that....smh ...so he said.. I'll have what he's having....I ordered the same thing I ate every time I go which the last year is at 3 to 4 times a week....I had enough points to eat free for a month everyday.. I order my .....,........... ....................,.,,.... HAMBURGER STEAK,FRIES,SLAW......,.,...........,.,. ...........................................,... SORRY, WE DONT HAVE THAT ANYMORE..,..WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......... I smh and said that's ridiculous, and said I'm going to shoney's.....she laughed thinking I was joking ...but guess what ...I wasn't......I said seriously and got up ....she apologized and I said it's not your fault dear ...she said ... I'll get your ticket....I stood there thinking ..really! ....so I waited a minute...she comes back and apologizes and puts the ticket down....I look at it and laughed .....almost $8 dollars for 2 teas ....thought bread came with the meal..but I got no meal cause I didn't want to eat breakfast that sat in there all day and was probably gross ....so I scanned the ticket to my CB app...which now gone and a bunch of reward points and left ...went to Shoney's and had all kinds of food hot and fresh ...cheaper too...got fat .. and sad...I really liked CB....but like every other corporations they got eggheads running the places and they are running them in the ground. Want be long till we will see CB on the ole cutting block ...been going down for sometime now but I thought still worth the price .....so long CB.. I feel for the kids that work there...they were super friendly and was courteous and was willing to work. A welcome change to see these days....Thanks Cody ...you was awesome and always made me feel welcomed and also to all the other staff members....THANK YOU!!!.....PEACE! AND...

On August 17, 2025, while returning from a family trip to Pigeon Forge, we stopped at the Cracker Barrel located at 716 North Campbell Station Road. I was with a group of ten, which included a close friend — a gay Black man.

Upon entering the restaurant, I briefly stepped away to use the restroom. When I returned, my wife informed me that our friend was visibly upset. An older white woman working at the cash register had repeatedly walked in front of the registers, closely watching him wherever he moved in the restaurant. She never approached him to offer assistance — she simply watched him, making it painfully clear that she was suspicious of him without cause.

It was clear to both of us that he was being racially profiled. It was humiliating and deeply offensive.

I immediately requested to speak with the manager and asked why the cashier was behaving that way. The manager responded that they had issues with theft in the past and the cashier was “just doing her job.” This explanation only made the situation worse. As someone with a professional background in Human Resources, I can confidently say that this was not only inappropriate but also a gross violation of basic anti-discrimination principles.

To make matters worse, the cashier later discussed my complaint with another guest — a clear breach of privacy and professionalism.

I am a 50-year-old man, and I have not witnessed such blatant racism since I was a child. What happened at that Cracker Barrel was not only disrespectful — it was disgusting. In 2025, it is unacceptable that such behavior is still tolerated, especially within a nationally recognized company like Cracker Barrel.

I believe the employee in question, along with the manager who defended her actions, should be held accountable. Allowing employees to treat guests in such a discriminatory and degrading manner tarnishes the company’s reputation and violates the values Cracker Barrel...

This is hands down the worst Cracker Barrel We have ever experienced ! We arrived just after 5PM and to our delight they weren't busy, but we were sat away in the back! Waitress came before we could get off our coats and seemingly was frustrated that we didnt know what we wanted to eat? We had been doing last minute Christmas shopping it was cold and blustering outside and we were looking forward to a hot meal, that is Not what we got! Food was barely warm ( and because we were sat in the very back, quickly became Cold ! ) the country fried steak was overcooked and smelled as though it had been Microwaved ! We paid an Upcharge for both Broccoli Casserole and a Loaded Baked sweet potato the Broccoli in the casserole was Raw! The Sweet potato was disintegrated! The biscuits and corn bread were as though they had been in the basket all day and were sparse! Not to mention doughy and butter would not even melt on them! Awful! We have given up on Craker Barrel and it is a shame that a waitress with 5 stars on her apron would even serve food like this... Much less never return to the table to ask if everything was okay? First, if you dont have Broccoli Casserole, and you only have " Steamed Broccoli, dont serve that to me and charge me an Xtra $1.99 for it, I could have changed my order if given that courtesy! Shame on you Cracker Barrel ! You must do Better! Especially in this particular area! We had given up on Cracker Barrel until. We visited one in Cocke County TN and it was Fantastic! So, we certainly thought that Lenoir City would have gone over and beyond considering the Upscale area that this Particular part of Loudon County brags to be... We will just Find our " Meat and 3 " In a Private Sector or small business restaurant where we dont pay $ 42 for trash! True story! My food was left...
