Normally, this is my go to place. After today, it will be a while: I placed my order to be ready ASAP. I got to the location and keyed in that I was there about 10 minutes later. After 10 minutes, it said "Teresa is on the way with your order". I saw a lady (not sure who) go to another van that had arrived after I did and deliver their food. She then took food to 4 other vehicles. I pushed the red button for assistance. The lady could not understand what I was saying and I had to repeat myself multiple times that I had a mobile order. Finally she understands and says "well let me check on it... uh.. yeah, we will bring it right out". At this point, it had been 30 minutes since I placed my order (2 burger combos & a burger kids meal with drinks) and all of it was sitting there waiting. I waited another 5 minutes for the lady to FINALLY bring me my food. She was so focused on reading my receipt while handing me the food that I almost dropped a drink and she almost dropped a whole bag into my lap. I caught it in air, and she didn't even apologize. I was beyond belief of her attitude. She hands everything over, hands the receipt, says "have a good day" and leaves before anything can be said to her. I am highly dissatisfied and will not be back anytime soon. All of the food was cold by the time I got home 3 miles away, I had to reheat all of it for there to be any heat. Will not be back...
Read moreCame to Sonic is Lenoir City this evening, ordered a cherry limeade, 2 small Oreo blasts, and a medium Oreo blast. Took 15 minutes after pressing the button to be able to order those. The medium blast was only filled 80%, which was really aggravating, but whatever. However, the cherry limeade was extremely off in taste. I was able to grab the attention of the car hop, because why wait another 15 minutes to reach someone. I told her about the limeade, and she says now you have to take the lime out, squeeze it into the drink, and drop it back in. Instead of arguing about the ridiculousness, I asked for a coke. She said she'd be right out with it. Well 15 minutes later, nothing. Tired of wasting more gas and time we left, which was probably their game anyway.
So from all the other similar reviews, I can tell there's a problem with employees. I know management is aware, which makes it a management and owner issue. Doesn't sound like anything is going to get fixed, so we will take our business elsewhere. It's sad that some businesses just don't care anymore, this being one of those pathetic ones. Read moreI’ve debated on writing this review but after reading the one where the same thing happened to another person I decided to do it. I stopped by one (yucky weather) afternoon when it was not busy for a fountain drink. After pulling in to a stall that had a black screen I moved to one further down pushed the button and no one answered so I decided to pull to another thinking they may be having trouble with them. While waiting another car had pulled in and got answered fairly quickly so I decided to call and see if I could place my order only to be greeted with a rude we only have 3 people after nicely asking if there was trouble with the speakers. I totally understand everywhere is short staffed but is that a reason to be rude to the people who are trying to support your business? Corporate, please do not respond the same cookie cutter way with call this number. The reviews clearly show that you have a problem here so just try and work on it! You have some long time employees at this location (if they are still there) that have always been nothing but friendly. Take care of them and work on getting more like them so this location can remain...
