We have missed dining here since moving several years and wanted to celebrate our 45 Wedding Anniversary with a meal here but my Darling was ill so we had to wait couple of days. Being old customers here we really had high expectations!
Entering restaurant few employees were in dining room watching olympics and they immediately gave us their full attention and welcomed us in. Atmosphere here is still phenomenal! It’s very comfortable and relaxed. Restaurant was very clean too.
The waitress though she is brand new is superb she was one of the best wait staff we have had. She is excellent at anticipating her guests needs without hovering. Really paid attention and is genuinely warm-hearted individual.
Seated in front of restaurant which allowed us a view of the kitchen at work or view out the window.
We each ordered a Pork Egg Roll which was absolutely perfect and the best part of the meal. I ordered Shrimp and Chicken Combination, my Husband the Scallops and Shrimp Combination ( includes Broccoli, Carrots, Fried Rice. Offer couple other options. ) with a side order of Scallops and Broccoli. Of course we ordered Iced Tea and it was pretty good.
Iced Tea served immediately and within four minutes at most our plates appeared and I thought oh no! With first bite you can tell you are eating leftovers. Scallops chewy, Shrimp little rubbery, Chicken tad dry and firm. Food taste like it was all prepared at first of day and reheated as ordered. It was still good but not what it could be when fresh. Like cooking good meal at home and having leftovers next day. So disappointed wanted to love everything.
I gave 5 Stars based on superb Staff, Atmosphere, Cleanliness and suspicion food is significantly better when arriving closer to opening. We were there around 3:00 P.M.and they open at 11:00 A.M. Willing to try once...
Read moreTime before last, they screwed up our order. So last time our order was free. This time, I called in the order and told the girl I would be there in about 15 to 20 minutes. I arrived at the drive thru window around 20 later. The girl asked me to repeat me order, she rang it up, charged our card, and then I see her take the ticket over to the chef. They had not even made our order. I asked her when she finally brought our food, why it wasn't ready. She replied that they have a new girl and she must have forgotten to put the order in to be cooked. She offered no apology, and it is one thing the make a mistake, it is quite another to be unwilling to admit your mistake, and offer something to the customer as a result. Read moreI'm sorry, but sometimes an apology isn't enough. Left out part of my drive thru order. Called. Said I requested to leave out the item when I didn't. They Apologized, but said call back they're busy right now. Then they called me said they apologize. I can come back & get my carrots. Yeah, I'm gonna drive back to town for carrots. With prices higher than they were & no salad with ToGo orders. The service should be spot on especially with ToGo orders. If a mistake is made the drive thru customer should be compensated for getting incorrect order. I should have been offered more than just "I can drive back to town..." to get something I had...
