Read moreAs my 1st time here I wasn’t sure what to expect. Walking in it seemed very small for the amount of people there and because of the size (and high ceilings) it was loud. The decor was fun and the staff was nice. There were 4 of us, we were sat at the high table near the bar. We were also told if we sat there would could only stay an hour since it was a table for larger parties. The seating in that spot was very uncomfortable. It’s between the bar & the “kitchen” entrance (and cash register) so people are constantly walking behind you. The bathrooms are also right there. The stools were VERY uncomfortable. They were small metal seats with no backs. Now with all that being said let’s get to the food. The people I was with had been there before and ordered the brussel sprout appetizer right away along with our drinks. I looked at the prices and thought they were a bit on the high side but when that appetizer came out and i tasted it… mmm, let’s just say the price seemed reasonable. We also ordered a couple entrees and shared them. The size of the plated food was what I consider a large portion and tasted very good so I’d say it’s worth the price. The only thing I didn’t like was the “homemade chips”. I would’ve rather had fries (which they don’t offer). So because of the size & taste of the food, and the service. I gave them 4 stars. I will try them again at a less busy time and make sure I get a better seat. I would definitely suggest trying them at least once since the food...
Read moreThis was my first time dining at this restaurant. One of my friends and I had been wanting to try this place out since we heard good things since they have opened. We walked in on a Wednesday night around 6pm and sat at the bar. The restaurant was rather busy, but We were acknowledged by the girls behind the bar and had no problem waiting because we saw how busy they were.We ordered drinks and an appetizer, everything was great. We later then ordered pizzas as our entrees, those were great as well. After finishing eating we had packed up our left overs. Other employees were running around clearing plates. Me, being a restaurant employee of 10 years, tried to stack the plates and pizza baking sheets and pizza stands(I guess you would call them) thinking that it would be helpful because I know if someone had done that for me I would greatly appreciate it.seconds later an employee by the name of Adam i believe walked by to clear out plates, just as I had finished stacking everything He made a wise comment of “ that’s not how you stack them but I got you”. Me working in a restaurant for so long was BEYOND shocked and felt so uncomfortable. I was in the end just trying to make it easier for whoever cleaned it up to carry and totally did not appreciate that.I am not the type to complain but I thought it was unnecessary and needed to be said. food was excellent and service was great, but it was very uncalled for. I’ll think about...
