I have come here for years when I want sushi takeout. On 8/15 I called ahead two separate orders making it clear we were paying separately and taking away separately. When we arrived our orders were put together rather than separate…I should have known right away this order was going to go bad. I stated no they need to be separate because logically they should be packaged the way they were ordered and we are going separate ways. Then I pay for mine with a debit card, the machine glitched out so they restarted the machine and I paid again. Days later when they are closed it comes through my banking as a double charge so I go in to address it the first day they are open again…they wrote down my first name, email address, and phone number. I asked if they needed anything else - bank screenshot etc - and they said no, the manager would be in touch when she is next in and the credit should return to my bank account in 5 business days. The 5 business days passes, no contact from a manager, so I call on 8/27. They said the manager is not in - manager ends up texting me and says she did not contact me because when she presented the case to the payment processor on 8/20 they indicated to her there was no double charge. So I provide the proof in response via text and told her she should have contacted me on 8/20 to request this proof instead of making me wait and wonder and now it’s a whole week later. She then tells me my extra payment will now be credited to my account in 7-10 business days along with a lackluster apology - no offer for a gift card or anything to acknowledge that HER negligence is the reason I was still waiting and wondering and I had to continue waiting for my own money due to her mistake. My time, my money…and no offer to make it right and step up the customer service. I want to return to Bua Thai and continue to support small business but what happens when small business doesn’t support you? I felt completely uncared for in this circumstance and they should be learning from this experience and how they can elevate their service moving forward. Definitely displeased with the level of customer service provided in this instance and when I provided this feedback to the manager I got...
Read moreMy family and I went in for dinner, I ordered the Red dragon sushi, it was good, my oldest son and his girlfriend shared chicken Thai lomein and my youngest had teriyaki salmon, my husband ordered tom yum soup with chicken. My husband has a sea food sensitivity so he figured he'd order soup because of the description "Choice of meat in the Thai signature soup cooked with Galangal, lime juice, lemon grass, Kaffir Leaves, onions, mushrooms, tomato, and scallions" it looked good but as soon as he started to eat he could instantly taste that it had some sea food flavor to it, our waitress couldn't be found, my oldest son went to ask someone about the soup and the ingredients, he was told just vegetables. By the time our waitress got to see how everything was everyone else at the table was done eating! The waitress had no clue what was in the soup! After talking to the cooks she found out that there was oyster sauce in the soup! I think that listing all ingredients on the menu is very important considering other patrons could have a food allergy! After telling the waitress he wasn't going to eat it she said she would put his name in the books for our next visit! I told her to please just take the soup off the check! After talking to my husband we will not be going back! We had high hopes as we have heard from friends that their...
Read moreI absolutely love the atmosphere of this place. I was very impressed by the menu. I think next time I’d come in and just get some sushi, because the Thai food that I got was kind of pricey and didn’t taste great. I got the chicken cashew. The chicken Wasn’t very good and it was very dry, even though they put it in an entire bowl of the sauce. I also got a bubble tea and they didn’t have the traditional pearl, so I got a milk tea with popping bubbles because the waitress suggested it, and it just tasted funny and I know that’s probably my own fault but I was really interested in getting a milk tea. I think they might use a powder for the milk tea, which is fine but it tasted odd. The rice tasted great, and if you know anything about eating at an Asian restaurant if there rice is good that means that they pass the test. My server was very nice very attentive and when I asked her to go back, she gave me a to go bag and multiple containers and even asked me if I wanted chopsticks. Because it’s little things like that that really...
