El Rodeo Lewiston — Restaurant in Lewiston

The brunswick location is my favorite Mexican food so I was excited to have a new location open up in my town. Ended up being a complete nightmare.took our order than came back a couple more times to clarify what we ordered and still brought out wrong food/drinks. We all got birria tacos, only person that got the dipping broth had to speak up and ask for one. She also ordered a taco which after waiting for an hour and a half the waiter says they're too busy to make it. Still tried charging her for it. One person ordered a build your own burrito and ended up with a burrito that only had chorizo in it. Asked if anyone wanted water. Would bring one water to the table at a time. After 3 trips to our table to deliver 3 glasses of water the rest of us gave up. Asked for to go containers multiple times. The checks were messed up. We took it to the desk and straightening it out took over a half hour. The waiter trying to figure it out in the middle of it left twice to serve tables. Our quick dinner ended up being there for over 2 hours.

The food is amazing and I'd hate to drag down the whole place because it could have just been one extremely incompetent employee but we're never coming back to...

I never leave negative reviews but this experience was to terrible to ignore. It started with informing me that I still had two minutes before happy hour began and I had to actually wait the two minutes??!! If the gentleman would have started making my drink the two minutes would have been over by the time he was done??!!When the two minutes ended it took him 20 minutes to come back, but there was only 1 other table at the restaurant??!!. The happy hour menu and the decor were both fantastic! But the wait staff was absolutely terrible. Our order was incorrect. 1 missing item, and the wrong kind of tacos. Our waiter and the host were boldly staring at us like they didn't want to be bothered??!! but never came to see what we needed or if we were ok. This was the longest most uncomfortable meal I have ever had and I'll never go back. So...

The service was good. The food was good. However, there was a special going on for tacos. Taco Supremes for $1.99. They overcharged me for one Taco Supreme and then also overcharged me for a House margarita I brought it to their attention and they changed the price on the taco supreme, but would not change the price on the drink. When I had entered the woman handed me the special flyer, and said this is what's on special. They charged me five extra dollars for a drink because on the menu it says from 2:00 to 5:00. The woman at the counter told me differently and when I ordered the drink it was off of the menu that they handed me and even said the house margarita that's on special. They did not change the price for me so I did not leave a tip and I will...
