Taco Time — Restaurant in Lewiston

The food was delicious. Honestly can't rave enough about the raspberry Bavarian cream empanada. So so good. I am giving 4 stars because when I go to taco time for quite a while now I am required to park and wait while using the drive thru. This happens to us all at times but it has been every time I have been there for about 6 months or more. The car in front of me and the 1behind be also had to park and wait. I don't expect my food in 20 seconds like some but I certainly don't expect to parkfor 5-8 minutes every time I go to the drive thru. The cost was high also. Crisp meat burrito for almost 5 bucks is a little steep. Cost of food has skyrocketed so increases are expected but it is a Tortilla and taco meat ....nothing more. And the amount of meat was less than usual even though the cost was more. I won't buy the crisp meat burrito anymore. Too steep for the amount of food. Especially when I can get a half lb soft taco for about another dollar. Still even all that being said I love taco time and the food is always good. I will continue eating here even if it's expensive and I have to wait. It is worth it!

Update- I still had to wait for food but it was a large order and the wait was short. Expensive. I can eat for less at Applebee's. However, I still love taco time and the food is fabulous for fast food. Fresh and delicious. I gotta give them 5 stars today because it was a very large order and I only waited...

Very sad & very happy at some time. As a rule, taco Time is my favorite fast food chain. There is an item called a weineto, that is only found at a select few locations, so I was exstatic to find it at the Lewiston location 😀🤗, then I noticed another item I had not seen anywhere before, the chirros with bavarian cream. Had to try! Once I receive order I set the bag in my passenger seat long enough to drive around & park on other side of taco Time building. Incentives parked, I picked up bag & set in my lap to sort through. I noticed a spot in my seat. While investigating what it was, I not only found what looked like the chirros bag had been dropped in or just doused with oil but that now I had an even bigger oil spot in my pant leg 😤 I'm traveling so I will not be able to wash & see if the oil will wash out of my pants or car seat for a few days....

This business cares more about their window pressure plates timing their speed in their drive thru waiting locations then actual customer satisfaction. I ordered a meal and had to wait for 5 minutes in a waiting parking spot, then I decided to take a couple bites of my food rather than reversing to park in the spot next to me. I verified there weren't any other cars potentially needing the location as I was the only 1 in the 3 available spots. A crew member ran outside and asked me to move due to their window times. I just felt it was uncalled for and was disappointed in the perceived values I encountered in this instance. I hope happy day makes a change to their values. That yes speed is important, but are you really going to run outside and ask your customer to repark for the minute or two it takes to eat their food after...
