I travel a lot for work and it's my favorite spot to grab a bite and a beer/margarita in the state! I'm always excited to visit Lewistown not just for the beautiful area but also for this little taqueria. The food tastes great and is presented very nicely, the staff is always friendly and the drinks flow nicely 🍻 As soon as I tasted their Micheleda, my taste buds were transported back to South Texas; Do yourself a favor, stop in and try one of the many items and drinks on their menu!

Wow! You won't go hungry even if you split an entree. The dishes were well presented; if only the service had been as good. Our waiter seemed a little on the passive-surly side, givingone-word answers to questions. I waited for refills on drinks, and we had to sit and wait for our ticket at the end of our meal. We'll look for another place to eat next time we pass through town. The food wasn't worth the service.

The food was good! I had the chile relleno and tamale. The chile relleno was eggcelent....just the way I like them full of cheese and wrapped in the egg(not deep fried)... and the beef in the tamale was so tender...could have used a little more flavor but that's where the Tapatio comes in!!!.... already on the table :) good chips and salsa as well!!

In a small town it’s rare to find a good place to eat! My boyfriend doesn’t really like the food at El Rancho Alegro but I used to think it was ok! I really liked the Margarita’s! I talked him into going for lunch today and we were really disappointed! We ordered our favorite Margaritas and they were too sweet and only 3/4 full from the top at 13.50 each! I ordered a shot of tequila to even it out! The waitress was young and didn’t seem to care that we were unhappy! After we ordered a second one with the same result I asked if we could get at least get a full glass for the 13.50 , she went off on a rampage about how rude I was! I asked for jalepenos, which we did not receive at all! The waitress.”Molly” yelled at me for being rude about asking for a full Margarita! I asked for the manager to which I was told there was not one on duty! Ugh! I then responded with the customer is always right, being a waitress myself! So she hollered” not here” ! The customer is not always right here! She threw my bill and boxes on the table and said; do not come come back here again! Wow! I spent my hard earned money for some stupid young girl to disrespect me! Never again! Think twice next time you want to eat local spend local! Sometimes it’s...

GREAT FOOD! HORRIBLE SERVICE! We love this place and eat here as often as possible, coming from Harlo, so it's a bit of a drive. We always enjoy eating and have wonderful food and service, until today. The service was the worst ever, hard to pin point what was wrong, because everything was: no napkins, silverware or straws, drinks were ordered but never came, to-go boxes requested and two tiny hot dog type boxes were brought (there were four of us), we asked for large boxes and they were brought in a huff and sat on the table right in the dish of sourcream! Check was delivered, we asked to have it split up and she just walked away! Unbelievable, sad, horrible service!! We love the food, always the best! We will be back, but will leave if that "person" is working, can't call her a "waitress", because she doesn't...

Ate there many times always been great, usually chile verde. Had steak fajitas 1st time $24.00 80% onions 10% green pepper 5-10% ground beef the worst steak fajitas I have ever had for $24. sliced sirloin at least would have been nice. Voiced our concern after spending $85 for two of us to owner's daughter She said they're we're aware of this with the kitchen help overdoing the onions in batch. I only ate about 1/3, she didn't bother to adjust our ticket one dime, even after I very politely said I would like the vegetarian Price..... guacamole as well for over a year now... Mostly onion, NOT AVOCADO..Very disappointed... Cadillac Margarita, white Blanco sauce, beans, rice,...
