Montana Tavern — Restaurant in Lewistown

I love that Montana is smoke free. You can tell that this bar was a smoking bar in the past, they haven't lost the remembrance of the once smokey bar.

It is a clean bar with great customer service. The bartender was smiley and sweet. She knew her alcohol and how to make drinks.

Lewistown is small, I was shocked on how full the bar was on a Tuesday evening. They have quite a few pool tables and casino machines.

Full of trump flags and "barn doors" out front- not at issue. in fact, thought it was a pretty nice neighborhood bar for most of the night. The bartender was extremely hostile to random patrons and overheard him ban a woman and the group she was with for being, quote "gentrifiers", following up with proclaiming himself and the establishment to be white supremacists. First time in this bar and I will never go again. The bartender was incredibly rude and we waited awhile to be served at the bar despite it not being busy. There were 6 other people in the bar 4 of which were sitting at the bar. I paid $6 for a shot and tried to pay with my debit card and was informed they only accept cash as payment.
