⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If we could give 10 stars, we would! Mama’s Daughters’ Diner in Lewisville, TX made such a big impression on us—we’re seriously considering moving here now!
From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family, and that’s thanks to our incredible waitress, Rusty. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Her warmth, humor, and genuine kindness made our visit unforgettable. She even shared a bit of her story with us, which only added to the feeling that we were right where we belonged.
Rusty’s menu recommendations were absolutely spot on. Every bite was delicious, from the chicken fried steak to the sides—and don’t even get me started on the rolls. After the first bite, I looked up and said, “I love Texas.” That’s how good it was.
If you’re in the area—or even if you’re not—it’s worth the trip. Amazing food, unmatched hospitality, and a little taste of home you’ll never forget. Thank you, Rusty and Mama’s Daughters’ Diner, for a meal and memory we’ll be talking about for...

I came to Mama’s Daughter’s Diner in Lewisville to pick up my food at 2:41 PM 1/27, and my experience was disappointing. When I arrived, there were no signs or clear instructions about where to pick up takeout orders. The staff kept looking at me but didn’t acknowledge me or offer assistance. Instead, they stayed deep inside the restaurant, chatting and gossiping for about 10 minutes while I stood there unsure of what to do.
Eventually, someone (Hispanic lady gossiping) called out to me from a distance, showed me my food, and set it at the bar in the back without saying anything, leaving me to figure out on my own that I needed to go get it. The lack of communication and professionalism was frustrating and made the entire experience feel unwelcoming.
If you're ordering takeout, be prepared for confusion and to potentially be ignored for a while. They definitely need to improve their customer service and provide clearer directions for...
Read moreMy wife and I thought we would eat here last night, since we hadn't eaten here in the evening for a long time. We wanted to have a good chicken fried steak dinner with cream gravy, broccoli and cheese sauce, mashed potatoes, house salad and those delicious fresh yeast rolls and cornbread muffins.
Well, what we got was pitiful. The ONLY thing that was good was the salad and the fresh rolls. They were delicious ! We should have just ordered that.
The mashed potatoes were obviously left overs from lunch. They were even stiff on the bottom. The broccoli was fine, but the cheese sauce was nacho cheese sauce, way too thick for broccoli sauce. The worst thing was the chicken fried steak. It was VERY tough and full of gristle. It was certainly not fresh. No wonder they used fresh gravy to cover it up.
I wish their dinner was half as good as their breakfast. I guess they have a different set of cooks at night that just don't care.
We won't ever come...
