WiscoTx Cafe — Restaurant in Lewisville

My most recent visit to date was the most disappointing service and food quality I've received from this place. In the past, I've received great service and quality food to the extent that I felt a sense of community. Today was different though.

1st of all, I was one that arrived and order at least 10 mins before someone else showed up. Unfortunately, I received my food later than the newer individual. 2ndly, I was treated as if I came in after her. The people in position there consistently asked if she was alright. I was sometimes passed over or ultimately asked way afterwards.

Lastly, I received a coupon via text to get $3 dollars off of my next purchase above $20. Even though it's through the zing platform, I've received that coupon before and it was honored in person by this establishment. Today (I guess it was because it was someone else), she's going to deny the coupon, but on the other hand, over charge my order. The server today claim that she priced everything from the server I'm used to encountering. I don't believe her because in this case, my coupon should have been honored today as well.

I'm asking for consistency in quality service and food. I'm highly disappointed of the subliminal disrespect, the lack of care, and the nerve to take advantage of my innocence...

Although I have been here before and raved about it, today was a whole new experience. After finally being seated, we noticed that the couple seated next to us (seated at the same time as us).quickly placed their order while we waited another 20 minutes to place ours. The family on the other side of us had been seated before us but due to the slowness/inattentiveness of the server, placed their order long after us. Oddly enough, we got our food before either couple did. Table was sticky; no one asked about drinks; and we had to flag down a server to place our order. We each got the breakfast burrito, which needed something like gravy to alleviate the dryness. When it was time to leave, we had to go to the counter ourselves as no one came with the check and to-go box we asked for, despite repeated requests on our part. All in all, the restaurant was understaffed and very unprepared to handle the number of customers they had today. We came on Father's Day Sunday for breakfast around 11am. The wait wasn't too bad to be seated, but the A/C was poor, and the service was horrendous. It took more than 15 minutes to be greeted by our server to take our drink and food orders. Then, it took over 30 minutes to receive our food. Some tables were raising their hands trying to get service and I had to get up twice and go to the front to get coffee creamer for the table and later to get a to-go box and our check so we could leave (even after asking the person who delivered the coffee and food). I wish I could say they were just understaffed, but there were 3 people who stood around at the front chatting and trying to hide that they were on their phones...

The food was just ok and the coffee was bad (watered down and tasteless). The prices are reasonable, the portions are good, and the parking is adequate, but these things don't make up for the...
