Swig — Local services in Coppell

Alright i had a fundamental misunderstanding of this place, and clearly Mormons in general. I have not been keeping up with real housewives of salt lake so that's my bad.

I thought this place was supposed to replace a bar. Lo and behold we show up to a fast food size place with a drive through (I would not drink here (maybe at a taco bell cantina??)) and two tables inside. And they serve energy drinks?? I learned after that this replace hot coffee, but cold caffeine is ok... whatever this is a review of swig not religion.

My second surprise was that they just use normal soda! I thought they would be serving up their custom creations, but they just use coke and dr pepper and stuff. Well that's boring. My third surprise is the pricing: extremely cheap! for a place that pretty much only serves soda, it's only $2 for the small size. How do they make money? Who knows. It's pretty bare bones so i guess overhead is low.

I ordered a Texas Tab, which is DP with coconut and almond. It mostly just tastes like dr pepper. but slightly worse. idk none of the menu options inspired me but maybe I'd try the sparkling water ones next time.

Overall, slightly underwhelmed but for the price, who cares. It was very ok.

shout out to dallas for having a 50 car parking lot for this tiny establishment. parking minimums...

Extremely disappointing experience at A Swig.

We arrived well before the dinner rush and placed our order promptly—yet somehow, at least 10 other customers who came in after us were served before us. At the time of this writing, our order is now six minutes late, and still nothing.

To make it worse, a staff member even called our order name loudly to the back, clearly realizing something was wrong—and then… silence. No follow-up, no apology, no update. Just more waiting while everyone else gets their food.

We used their loyalty program for this order, and based on what we’re seeing, that was clearly a mistake. If anything, using the rewards program seems to slow things down, not speed them up. We won’t be making that mistake again—we’re done with their loyalty system and likely done with this place.

We love swig, I frequently get it for friends or coworkers bc they have so many options and something For everyone. Unfortunately the last couple months every drink in my order has been wrong. It will be rang up right and the sticker is correct but they always make them wrong. Busy, not busy, early, late. It doesn't matter. Once a light blue drink came out green - brown and I asked the lady 'isn't this supposed to be blue?' and she just stared at me and said yes. Did not remake it, just told me it was the right drink. My friend took a sip and it was not at all right. I definitely recommend ANY other location besides this one. PLEASE train your staff to pay more attention, I can't keep justifying spending $20 on drinks that we don't like or can't drink bc of...
