First, let me say that the food was fresh and delicious!! I orders a Double Reuben, potato cakes and a few jalapeno bites. I also had a Mint Chocolate shake. Double Reuben was more like triple - no complaints! Potato cakes were nice and hot. The jalapeno bites were good but the bronco sauce is a weird combination so I chose to appreciate the jalapeno bites without it. The shake came up way before the rest of the order and since this was all to go, the shake was runny and not the best quality after waiting 5 minutes in-store and another 5-minutes to get home. But, still drinkable, regardless.
Customer service gets 2 stars. The guy at the register seemed miserable and very monotone. But, it was the assumed manager that knocked the rating down. (He was wearing a distinctly different shirt) I did like the fact that he was in the thick of it doing what he expect his employees to do, BUT he didn't smile - not even dealing with customers. It was as if we (the customers) were the depressed bane of his existence. I asked about the jalapeno bites quantity as he passed the register area. He stopped and answered me with the same uncaring monotone of the rest of the employees. I told him I would take the 8pc. He walked off. HE WALKED OFF! The cashier stops filling an order for drive thru and does clarify my order and ring me up. His face may reflect sadness and voice monotone but he at least knew a little customer service.
I didn't see a name tag for the manager nor the cashier. Noting how miserable these two looked, I looked around at the other employees...the same. Sometime the employee is only as good as the manager and clearly they were all taking the lead of the manager's lack of setting a good example. Honestly, as I looked at the employees and the stack of applications indicating "now hiring", it is my guess they can't keep employees. Is it a hostile work environment, passive or otherwise? It's really disturbing how blank and zombiefied...
Read moreFirst of all, let me talk about the drive thru experience. There's a lot to be said here. The sign was well illuminated and I had no trouble whatsoever reading the menu. Kudos, Arby's.
Secondly, the man working the drive thru was both patient and helpful. He prompted me as to which drink I wanted. I got a Dr Pepper along with a medium classic meal. Upon arriving at the drive thru window, I was greeted by the friendliest (and might I say, very attractive) man. I was briefly captured in his gaze. I handed him a $20 (the meal was around $8) and our hands grazed each other, and I could see in his eyes that he felt the electric connection deep inside that I too felt. After this charged moment I was left with butterflies fluttering in my stomach, which could only be satiated by a quality Arby's meal.
When he handed me my food, I could see in his eyes that it hurt to see me go. As a last ditch attempt to spend more time together, he asked if I wanted any sauces. We both knew he wasn't talking about condiments, but I abashedly said I wanted ketchup while blushing furiously. I could feel a tingle rising up within me before he abruptly told me to have a good day. I could tell he was hurt that I had to go and he just wanted to let me go. Perhaps he thought if it was meant to be, I'd come back. Perhaps I will. I told him to have a good day before I drove off. He hasn't left my mind...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. If you want a milkshake you might as well forget trying to get one from this location. At least once night shift takes over. Went at 7 pm one night for just a shake and another night at 8 pm for just a shake as well. Because Arby's has the best chocolate shakes. Every time I try to get one and it's after 6 pm they say their shake machine is down because it's being washed. They don't close until 11. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years. You don't start cleaning the stuff that makes your food 4 to 5 hours before you close. Something being broken or shut down for washing is an excuse horrible and lazy employees give when they don't want to do something and actually do their their jobs. If you want a shake go to the one on richmond rd, theirs is always working up until close and they are on point. Take your business there. You will have a much better experience I 100%...
