Went in and it was slow, waited longer than 5 minutes to be seated as the servers were behind the counter chatting and drinking their drinks.. several saw us standing there but didn’t say a word until I asked if we should seat ourselves (there is a sign that says please wait to be seated). Server had a terrible attitude as she explained that they wait for the hostess to seat people, but she was busy cashing out 3 different customers. Coffee came out and it was cold. I asked to have my bacon cooked to order, and the server explained that they make all the bacon in the early morning hours. I told her that I was aware, being that I have ample experience as a cook in restaurants. I also explained that I do not like the taste of bacon that has been sitting under a warmer as it has a funny taste. The food came out in about 5-8 minutes, and she still brought me the pre-cooked bacon. It too was cold, and looked pre-cooked. When I said something, clearly without care she said “I told them what you wanted.” I told her I did not want the food and asked to speak to a manager. The owner sent someone else out to speak to me, and whomever she was, explained that the owner pre-cooks the bacon and was unwilling to cook 4 pieces of bacon to order. This is absurd. I understand if everyone in the restaurant was asking, but that is never the case. The owner didn’t want to be bothered to make it right or to speak to a customer. They were slow, with 80% of tables empty, and this was such an easy request. I didn’t mind waiting more time, but to just refuse fresh bacon and lose a family of long time...
Read moreI’m always dining at Creekside Restaurant for breakfast and lunch and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the delicious food to the outstanding customer service, this restaurant truly exceeded my expectations.
The breakfast and lunch menus are filled with a variety of delicious options, each dish expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet or savory, there's something for everyone on the menu. I highly recommend trying the breakfast bowl or the french toast, both were absolutely delicious!
What really sets Creekside Restaurant apart, however, is the customer service. From the moment I walked in, I’m greeted with warm smiles and a friendly welcomes. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, and they went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience is exceptional.
In addition to the outstanding service, the personal touches really made the experience memorable. The staff took the time to get to know me and my preferences, making thoughtful recommendations that were spot on. They truly make me feel like a valued customer.

Read moreI want to love Creekside restaurant, I really do. I only found the restaurant after performing a google search for breakfast and, wouldn't you know it, I lived in the apartment complex next to it. They have starting adding larger signage out front, but I've driven past it hundreds of time without knowing of its existence.
The atmosphere on the weekend is typically very busy, but I'll credit the work staff for always being well prepared for a crowd. The size of the restaurant, which will likely surprise you as I did me, allows most of that ambient noise to dissipate before reaching you, so I've never found myself talking or thinking above a respectable noise level. As far as atmosphere and decorations...well...I'm fairly there was some Clemson vs USC stuff on the walls, but it is nothing to write home about.
Unfortunately, that previous description applies to the food as well. I have ordered multiple dishes, but each was always just one notch above bland. The most impressive side were the onion-covered hashbrowns; however, they are served very inconsistently, as I once had hashbrown-covered onions. For my tastes, and I've been to many breakfast places, no other dish has shown a distinct flavor and some have even fallen into the "sustenance" category.
There aren't many other breakfast-lunch specific places in Lexington, but I wouldn't recommend making it a...
