I've never been to Mexico, but from what I understand about Mexican cuisine El Gran Tako is an authentic taco and torta restaurant rather than a Tex-Mex style place. I had tacos de lengua (beef tongue tacos) and a torta with chile relleno. The tacos had a double corn tortilla and were filled with cilantro and onions and served with lime wedges. There is a salsa bar where you can pick your style of salsa to add. The torta had lettuce, mayo, and avocado. Both were delicious. It was a huge mess, then to see the waitress hugging on him just moments before gathering up a to go order. Needless to say we canceled our order and will never be back.
