I may have already reviewed them when I first started going but feel like I should do another! I absolutely LOVE this business and their coffee drinks! It is so refreshing to go to any "fast" food/drink establishment and experience not just great customer service but CONSISTENT great customer service. I typically get a med double torture-blended and it is 7.58 for 20 oz (unsure if 20 or 24 oz), and it is a delicious blend of strong coffee AND chocolate flavor, as they use chocolate milk in the process. It has 130mg caffeine so is a great late afternoon pick-me-up. In addition, each team member knows me and always greet me with a smile and personal chit-chat. If I pay thru the app they also bring it out to me b4 I even get to the window, saving me time if there's 4 or 5 cars in front of me, which makes me feel valued. One day when I talked to them abt having a bad day emotionally and then stated I was going to pay thru app they said not to worry about it, it was on them and they hope it helps make my day better!! Seriously, who does that anymore!? And these are younger people, which shows me how the owners and managers clearly have a great business model and procedures/policies in place to ensure this treatment at every location (not being harsh abt the younger generations bc there are plenty that are fabulous, it's just that at this type of business I usually see them acting like they'd rather be anywhere else but their job-lol). Had to concede and go to SBks one day and paid 2 dollars more for a comparable drink (Java chip w extra espr shot) that was smaller in size and not even close to tasting as good; all served by a barista who looked like they hadn't smiled in months.....nuff said. Dutch Bros is the pinnacle by which all other coffee/drink places...
Read moreI'll give this place a good review and recommend it, but for a different reason than most. Yeah, the coffee and muffin tops are good. The prices are reasonable. The portions are generous. All that is true and makes this place worth going to.
But for me, what I couldn't help noticing is that the employees didn't seem miserable, which is how I'd describe most service workers. Not without reason, either, those kinds of jobs can be really draining thanks to the public. But despite being super busy, and pretty cold, nobody seemed bothered.
They were all chatty, friendly, super casual. It's just my perception, and I could be wrong about it, but I always think highly of places where the employees seem happy, since those are the people I identify most with.
I didn't get the impression that anybody had to act or speak a particular way. If you've worked service or retail jobs, then you know what I'm talking about. I love this approach and with more places took it.
So yeah, I'd recommend this place. It's nice to have a coffee spot that isn't just Starbucks, that has a unique look, that offers a good value, and has employees that seem like they're having a good time, even with their slingin' cups...
