Just ordered carryout for the first and probably last time. I ordered sesame chicken w/ fried rice, crab rangoon, and hot & sour soup. The soup was decent. It had plenty of vegetables in it and it had flavor. The crab rangoon wasn't even crab rangoon -- I guess they didn't seal them properly, and all of the filling poured out into the fryer, because all I received were empty fried wontons with a hint of filling (pictured; all ~6 were like that). The sesame chicken was pretty bland, but otherwise okay -- disappointing for an entrée, though. The fried rice was similarly quite bland. I wouldn't eat it on its own, but it's at least not dry, so it's good enough for mixing with your entrée's sauce or whatever. Overall, the food was bland, lacking in quality, and I was pretty disappointed by the crab rangoon. Would've given 3 stars if not for that. My food was ~$21 altogether, with tax (the sesame chicken included the fried rice; the rest were separate). It was enough food to ration into 2 meals, but I can't say I'm looking forward to the leftovers. I've certainly had worse, but I don't see myself ordering...
Read moreI usually order from this place a lot, I mean a lot. I ordered from them tonight, the guy that answered, took my order and said my order would be here in 30-40 mins. No problem, wrong, I waited a hour for my food and called them back asking where the food was and they told me it was out for delivery. Waited another 30 mins, called again to speak to the manger to possibly see what was wrong, were they short staffed or what. The lady got on the phone and started yelling at me, the delivery guy was on his way and he had 2 more deliveries other then mine and that they were busy. I just had to hang up. That is not the way you speak to a regular customer that likes your food. They don't need to advertise and say 30 mins if they are busy, just tell the customer that it will be while due to a busy night. I would've understood, I work in the restaurant world myself!!!! Not ordering...
Read moreWe went to a Friday night dinner at Foilage. We were the only guests around 6pm. Service was fine, but I took a bite of my beef with broccoli and it tasted like seafood. I can't eat seafood. I moved onto the rice, it was fried, very flavorless. The broccoli was soggy. The carrots were ok. The meat had an odd consistency also, slimy and rubbery. I have had food at this restaurant and it wasn't this bad. My friend tried to eat her noodle entree to no avail. Her son had the sweet and sour chicken and said it tasted off also. The sauce was also either old or oily...not sure. I believe we spent somewhere around $46 for the four of us. We were disappointed and hope they will clean the griddle surface between entrees and just keep the food fresh or whatever the issue is. We won't be returning. We all left still hungry and were out close to $50. May explain why there was an empty...
