I live nearby and have used this Starbucks for about 6-8 years. Lately, in the last year or two, it's taken a large hit in quality. Oftentimes drinks/orders seem "off" even if surface-level it was okay (correct number of items and names). I think it's primarily consistency with how drinks are made, as they differ quite a bit each time I order, and other locations are more consistent/better overall. I've gotten drinks from this location I essentially just threw in the trash when I got home. "Why didn't you take it back?" Let's be honest, no one wants to be "that person" when it comes to food items, so I'm giving feedback here.
Also customer service is lacking lately, with interactions being short/rude, and not really seeming like they actually want customers there?
Finally... Online orders. Every Starbucks location I have ever used, across the country, place the app orders out in a pickup area so you can walk in and grab-and-go. This location puts them behind the counter so you have to ask for them. That defeats the entire purpose of app ordering. You could say it reduces theft maybe, but I could easily walk up and say the name on the tag I can clearly read if I wanted a free drink, OR, just say "Yes" when they ask if my name is "Jim" or whatever. Read moreI used mobile ordering and when I got to the store I waited in a rather long line and when I got to the window they told me to pull in front which didn’t feel safe with traffic thru the parking lot but I did. My order was suppose to be ready before then so I thought I wouldn’t wait long. I waited 8 min before calling the store. After I explained I was waiting I waited another 4 min. I had also asked for a drink tray for my 2 drinks and I got a cut into one that didn’t balance the drinks on my seat so I had to try and drive with one hand and hold the drinks with the other. I can’t believe the employees couldn’t realize that those wouldn’t work or maybe they did and did it on purpose ? I ended up getting all the topping off one all over my sweater and I’m not sure it will even come out. The girl Who brought it was rude and.confrontational. I did get a $4 card to use on my next visit but I believe I will try 7 brew they are closer...
Read moreWorst Starbucks experience in my life! Had my 2 young kids with me who love the chocolate croissants and other bakery items... we seriously waited 20 mins for our drink orders then I had to go up and ask about our food order. Heck, we waited 10 mins for a water.
When I asked about our food order the guy quickly realized they had forgotten all about us. Completely forgot! This guy was nice, very nice, but what about the other 5 people working who could have seen me waiting forever with 2 kids who couldn't sit still? Seriously, is this what Starbucks has become - shouting out a drink order and never making eye contact with a single customer in the store? Wow! I mean, wow! Make eye contact and read some dang body language... that's what customer service is.
I was there for 35 mins with a to-go order... waiting because they work with their heads down so they don't have to look up and care about anyone.
