Great Wall — Restaurant in Lexington

I am not the type of person that usually reviews or puts ratings on Google, but I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. I ordered delivery from here and man, was it terrible. We ordered the General Tso's Chicken and Kung Po Chicken combo platters. The fried rice had chicken that looked mangled, and was bland and unseasoned, my boyfriend mistook it for cauliflower at first until he got the courage to taste it. The General Tso's chicken was gristly, dry and tasted like it was under a heat-lamp all day. The Kung Po chicken was a mess, I could barely find pieces of chicken, there were was a mish-mash of vegetables that didn't seem cooked well either. The egg roll was good and the fortune cookie was the best part of the experience.

After being subjected to that mess, I called the establishment to let them know of my experience, and ask for compensation of some sort. During the phone call I spoke to whom I assume was the person working the register. She was nice and polite and attempted to bring my concerns to who was in charge. When the lady taking my phone call brought up a question a second time, I could hear in the background incessant yelling, which made the conversation awkward to say the very least. After feeling bad for the employee, who got a verbal whooping because of me, I decided this was not worth the trouble, and gave up with my tail tucked between my legs. Disappointed. Disgusted. Dejected. DAMN.

As a public service announcement I ask everyone to save their money...

NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN & Customer service is horrible, food never came I wish I could give 0 stars ! Called and placed an order but when I asked what was in the spring roll she told me she didn't know - so I suggested she asked somebody else - and she insisted that nobody else knew either because it is just ordered from some company (so I just left off the spring rolls). Before we hang up i specifically tell her how to get here and she says okay. I wait 30 mins and get a call saying that she didn't know how to get here and is going to return the money. I tried to tell her how to get here and she insisted there was no way to my house ??? and so I called the main store and asked if she relayed the message on how to get here and by then the driver was at the store. They spoke in Chinese and I told her again how to get here and they told me by the time it got here it could still be warm I just told her to give a refund. I'd call myself trying this place again because in the past I ordered from them couldn't remember why I stopped - thought I would give it another shot but now I remember . Its not worth it save your time, energy, and money for another place !...

Really horrible experience here. Sauce in both the broccoli beef and garlic chicken were a watered down starch filled mess. Broccoli beef was just iffy in general. Beef slices were huge and not cooked evenly. Broccoli was ok just huge and had to be cut into smaller pieces. As for the garlic chicken, it was labeled as spicy but couldn't have been further away from it. So ridiculously bland and weirdly sweet. Portions are huge but so displeasing I couldn't stomach finishing the rest. Only plus is they give a lot of rice and it's decent...but still, it's rice. Don't waste your money here if you're looking to be able to taste some flavor...
