The owner of this store needs to look into some training for his/her employees and managers. We were in the store around 9:00 pm. and there were 11 employees in the store and most of them were talking about facebook and horsing around. Little actual work seemed to be happening. We came in for ice cream. The employee who took our order informed us we would be unable to order ice cream because "that guy over there put the wrong kind of milk in the machine and now its all messed up. It ain't right and we don't know when it will work again." Instead, we ordered three apple pies. We waited for several minutes and watched while a few of the employees worked to take care of drive-through customers. I noticed they were serving ice cream to the drive-thru customers. I was about to say something but I noticed the rest of the employees were touching each other's hair, standing around and one employee was even leaning against the wall with her arms pulled in her shirt and her hands in her armpits. These are food service workers! Have they not been trained? I really didn't want them preparing an ice cream cone. Our wait for the pies was unusually long and I wondered if there was a problem. At the same time, I had seen enough to know I never wanted to eat anything prepared in this store. Finally, I heard one employee ask another about the pies. We waited a few more minutes. Then, one of the employees told me that I could have one pie but it would be another 11 minutes for the other two. The options presented were, have one pie now and wait for 11 more minutes for the other two or take one and get a refund for the other two. Having already waited for ten minutes, I asked for a refund. It took three employees to issue the refund. The manager was friendly and the employees were not unfriendly but they were clearly not at all customer aware or customer focused. Everyone seemed to lack basic training in food service skills, cleanliness and professionalism, including the manager. I'm sure this location does a great drive-thru business where many of the sanitation issues are never noticed by the customers, but I know it would be hard for me to return...
Read moreA little bit of communication goes a long way. My wife ordered food for herself and my son. We go through the drive through, and wait at least 12 minutes just to get to the window. Sat at the window for at least 90 seconds before someone even comes to the window, and he hands me 2 drinks and says to pull the car up to the end of the lane. No explanation why. I pull up , and another 3-4 minutes goes by. Meanwhile, 6 other cars behind me pull up, get their orders and leave. I finally got out of the car and went inside to see what was taking so long. They don’t even address me directly, but I hear them say they were waiting on the crispy chicken sandwich that my son had ordered. …..it takes a while to cook? Ok. They had to go find a chicken, slaughter and dress it? Fine. TELL THE CUSTOMER. If I know why I am having to wait 20 minutes at a FAST FOOD restaurant, I’ll be more patient than if you just tell me to pull up to the end of the row and I see 6 other people being served. I personally am not a big fan of McDonald’s. My wife and son love it, so they will go back. But I seem to get terrible service any time I go to their restaurants, no matter the...
Read moreThere was a sweet younger blonde lady working the counter with great customer service and so was the tall man in a dark red button up. I'd gone through the drive through and ordered 2 sausage egg biscuits. The car was loud and there was some confusion, okay no biggie. We drove through to the window as instructed and paid for 2 sausage egg biscuits. Well as we were waiting at the stop light my mom's boyfriend took a bite of one of the sandwiches and realized it was missing the egg. We went back around the drive thru and he drove all the way around instead of going through the line. So I decided to go inside; the gentleman with the red button up asked what I needed in a polite manner and apologized for the inconvenience: not asking for my bag or anything. So I waited patiently until a shorter lady in a purple t-shirt walked up to me and SNATCHED the bag off the counter and said "ok one minute" then tossed my bag back at me which has the 2 egg biscuits in it. I was very happy and pleased to have such nice people to be greeted by but her attitude and aura RUINED my morning. If I ever run into her again I'm going to have to go to a...
