Celebrating Community at Ryanâs Short Circuit Arcade Bar!
I want to take a moment to acknowledge a true shining star in our communityâRyan Short and Short Circuit Arcade Bar. Yesterday was St. Patrickâs Day, a holiday often associated with lively celebrations and indulgence, but at Short Circuit Arcade Bar, it was something even more special.
I had the pleasure of experiencing Community Monday Dinner for the first time, and it was nothing short of amazing. Ryan has created something truly uniqueâa complimentary meal for the people of Lexington, not for profit, not for recognition, but simply to bring us together. The turnout was incredible, with neighbors, families, and friends coming together to share in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Short Circuit Arcade Bar is more than just a barâitâs a community hub where families can come to play games, socialize, and make lasting memories. Last night, I personally connected with people I may not have otherwise met, all while enjoying delicious corned beef, cabbage, vegetables, and a table full of desserts. It was a meal with a purposeâto build connections and strengthen our communityâand thatâs exactly what happened.
Ryanâs dedication to Lexington goes far beyond just running a business. He is leading by example, showing how a local business can truly uplift the people it serves. Other businesses could take a page from his bookâRyan is putting on a masterclass in community engagement and business with heart.
If you havenât yet, make sure to stop by Short Circuit Arcade Bar, enjoy the fun, and thank Ryan Short for his unwavering commitment to bringing us all closer together. Letâs support those who support...
Read moreWent with my adult son and we had a great experience. Lots of pinball and video games. A couple machines ate our quarters. Other than that the Staff was super and the atmosphere was great. There seemed to be plenty of seating but we didn't sit. Great place for young and old. There is a full bar if you prefer cocktails or bottled beer but for draft you pour your own from a bank of taps. Being charged by the fluid ounce. You get an elastic wristband with a RFID chip embedded, not sure if it's passive or active. You then tap the wristband on the tap reader to activate the tap. There is a total limit to how much beer you can pour in all. Not sure how much as both of our wristbands were linked to the same credit card but we were able to pour 2 16oz glasses each then I had to get another band for a fifth beer. Even though we had no server and poured our own we were still prompted to tip which we did not. There is plenty of parking. We will...
Read moreShort Circuit is hands-down one of the best spots in town! The atmosphere is unmatched â fun, lively, and perfect whether youâre with friends or just looking to kick back for a bit. What makes it even better is how Ryan is constantly rotating the arcade games, so every visit feels fresh and exciting. You never run out of new games to try, which keeps the energy high and the fun nonstop.
Itâs also the most enjoyable place in town to grab a drink, having an ice-cold beverage in hand while playing classics and discovering new favorites is just the perfect combo. On top of that, Ryan is such a stand-up, genuinely nice guy who clearly cares about creating a great experience for everyone who walks through the door.
If you havenât been to Short Circuit yet, youâre missing out. Itâs easily the most fun...
