Our only sad remark for Twisted Roots is “why did it take us so long to dine in at this wonderful place?” Please don’t walk, RUN to TR Bar & Grill! My husband and I stopped in for dinner this evening and basically it’s our new favorite spot. Interior is spacious and aesthetically pleasing with a bar and casual dining booths and tables. We were quickly greeted by Peyton with menus then shortly after our server, Jessica - who gave us excellent service for our visit. You could certainly tell she enjoys her job and making the patrons have a really nice dining experience. She spent time chatting us up about the delicious food and about the establishment. They’ve been in business 6 years! But the real standout star is the food - absolutely wonderful. Made fresh and curated with care and simply delicious. I can be hard to please with my dining out food experiences but Twisted Roots did the thing! You must order the asparagus appetizer (local fresh vegetables are used) and they are delicious! I ordered the classic burger and it was the best burger I’ve had out in years! And the menu pricing was impressive and affordable - not at all inflated like many places that took place after the pandemic. I’m telling you they are doing all the things right and we took notice. Great experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Heard that every Sunday they serve fresh homemade dishes from 11-2! We will be back for more! I never do reviews and we do not know the owners or any of the...
Read moreI have dined here on a handful of occasions. The food was alright but the service seemed to always be lacking. Six of us went yesterday evening to have drinks and dinner. We sat ourselves as the sign said. There was one good size party of maybe 15 and just a handful of other customers. We waited 10 minutes to for a waitress to come by. No luck. We went to the bar to order drinks and returned to the table. We waited another 35 minutes for a waitress to I order food. No luck. I stopped a waitress and asked to speak to the manager. I was told there was no manger on duty nor the owner on site. I explained we had waited 45 minutes for someone to check on us. Her response was short and was that she should have been cut earlier and wasn’t even supposed to be working. She sent the bartender out and I asked if I could have a number to reach the owner. She said she couldn’t provide that (which I understand). So I left my number for the owner to call. We left and went to Goodfella’s to finish off our evening. I am not one to complain easily. I understand if a restaurant is overwhelmed with business that customer service may lag. In this case there wasn’t much business and zero customer service. We won’t be returning to Twisted Roots. I’ll wait and see if...
Read moreThis place was horrid. The music is WAAAY too loud, even for a bar place. I couldn't hear anyone speak. The waitress messed up and didn't get my tenders tossed in teriyaki and then when she finally brought me some sauce after waiting forever she brought me a tiny container less than enough for half of my tenders and I stretched it as far as possible. She dissaperaed so I couldn't ask for more. I was given a teeny bit of fries for my side and had to order more. The waiter took forever to check on us and the food was very lame. I've had better tenders for $10 double the amount given. Not impressed. It was supposed to be my graduation dinner. Parents felt so bad they took me out for ice cream.
DO NOT bring anyone with any sensitivity whatsoever to sound. I can deal with bars and loud noises and everything and my ears HURT after this place. This place is only safe for people with hearing aids that can just turn off the noise. And I can deal with concerts and noise and this was worse.
And it was all for nothing bc my dad had the wrong night for...
