This Taco Bell gets inundated with orders at night, and honestly, they don't have the people to keep it slamming like dayshift. They also deal with all kinds of nonsense, especially what we witnessed tonight.
A group of kids in their 20s walked in, about five of them. One of the girls is a server at Carolina Wings and Ribs, and all the others seemed to be coworkers. She stood there and spoke in a condescending manner toward the cashier, who is in the same exact industry. The audacity was incredible, but the cashier was extremely nice the whole time, and so were the other two people or so in the back.
The employees don't deserve mistreatment and disrespect from people who are hardly experienced in anything close to a struggle or life who are ordering food from them. Please keep your heads up and do your best. Don't mind the fools out there. They will learn, eventually.
I had two cantina soft tacos, which were made perfectly, wrapped, and bagged with care. The young man who handed it to me was clearly not happy from the gaggle there, but he managed to give me a genuine smile when I thanked him.
The only way I could say the atmosphere was bad would be to talk about the kiddos again. Everything was spotless and pristine.
Be kind to others, no matter how high above you or below you, that you perceive them. They are all human, too.
To the Taco Bell owner or whoever reads these - your night crews deserve to have more people on them to handle the workload. A 20-minute wait on two or three items is what earns bad reviews. All it would take to help them and decrease the bad part about the restaurant are more people with hours to work. Nothing will change for your restaurant or those employees dealing with the terrible customers that wander in after dark.
Also, you may want to roll your cameras back to about fifteen minutes prior to 10:26pm and see how well your cashier handled the disrespectful children. I say children because only children should be acting like bullies. Adults know better. You'll also see the young man who handed me the food, who was...
Read moreWorst Taco Bell EVER!!!!! Have been there on two different occasions at about 10 am and the place wasn't open!!! Supposed to open at like 7am! Been there late night and went to the drive through only to be told the "system was down" or no one answered the drive through at all!!! Our orders are consistently wrong, most of the employees act as if they hate their jobs. I love Taco Bell, that's the ONLY reason I have returned to this consistently disappointing location. Until they replace management and get their sh** together, I WILL NOT be returning and I will make sure other family and friends don't either! I will be contacting the corporation office to make a formal complaint!
Update...my husband reluctantly went to this location a couple days ago because the kids wanted taco bell. AGAIN, the order was wrong and the employees didn't seem to care much. What the hell is up? Is it poor management? Its obviously poor choice of who management is hiring but is it poor management as well? It's so bad there, maybe management needs an...
Read moreGenerally every time we have been to this taco bell (near our house), the wait is extremely long, there is a mistake with the order, or some food items were not available in the restaurant. We have also pulled to the driveway well within their open hours and they said they were closed. Today, my husband ordered a nachos bell grande meal and we waited 15 minutes in a parking spot along with 3 or 4 other cars (ahead of us and behind us - no orders were being fulfilled at the window; this is not our first experience doing this here). In addition, we didn't have any sauce (because we weren't asked and didn't think of it before pulling to the parking spot) and we only got 3/4 glass of tea because it ran out while she was pouring. The worker did offer a different drink, but my husband just took the tea, so that was fine. Food is what you expect from taco bell, and we will probably continue to begrudgingly get our cheap Mexican food fix when it hits, but hope for some staffing...
