Burger King — Restaurant in Lexington

Worst experience I've ever had at a BK!!!!! If I could deduct stars I would....we entered the store with about 6 or 8 people waiting for their orders on Saturday after Helene. There was a line at the drive through that was to the parking lot entrance but it was what the grandkids wanted so we went inside. We placed our order#47 and waited. The girls played in the play area and I waited nearby in the dining room so I could hear the numbers called out. The first number I heard was #39, then up in order to 43...... Then 53!!!!! That was a small bag so I didn't think much of it. In the meantime the cars that were just in front of us pulling in disappeared around the corner of the building as they ran the drive through orders first!!! They proceeded to serve three others that came in after me. I asked about my order, the worker picked up a slip of paper and said we're just waiting on your whopper ( not part of my order) . They then said they were going to lock the doors to prevent anyone else from coming in. I told the manager they couldn't do that as it presented a fire hazard. They locked everyone inside!!!!! I wasn't staying in an unsafe situation so I demanded a refund. One worker stated that my order was almost completed, but I left the store without the food. I held the door open so another couple could leave and another enter. HOW CAN THEY LOCK THE DOORS WITH PEOPLE INSIDE???? Check corporate policy and fire regulations......By the way.... Total time wasted was 1.25 hours.... Time to walk in door and place order and sit down to eat at Jersey Mike's by Lowes foods... 7 minutes.... Kudos on service...

I've used the drive-thru here before, with no issues, but not recently. Today, 3 of us visited for an early lunch in the dining room. We were prepared to wait a few extra minutes, but we were happy to see "lunch for breakfast" on the touch-screen menu, so we ordered sandwich meals. The employees we interacted with were pleasant, and the food was okay, though I'd have preferred my burger to be a bit warmer. Misc issues: dining room was attractive, and looked clean, but the floor was sticky. The ladies' room paper towel dispenser was empty. We had all ordered specific sodas, but we were handed cups for the freestyle dispenser. We didn't mind using the dispenser, but it was entirely out of ice, and most soda options also were out, so we made do with the few available options. (I got flavored water instead of Coke Zero.) My onion rings were supposed to come with a sauce, but didn't. A companion already had gotten some ketchup, which was fine, though, so I didn't bother getting up to ask for the sauce that I'd ordered. So, all in all, the meal was ... okay. But this location currently has a few...

One of the worst places I've been to...never did they get an order correct. It didn't matter if I went to the drive thru, or walked in the place, I inevitably ended up at the front counter, trying to get my order fixed. The service is incredibly slow. Even at lunch rush, they often only had one person for counter service. If your order is wrong at the drive thru, you have to drive around and walk in to get it fixed, which defeats the purpose of a drive thru! I hadn't been to this place in a long time, so I thought I'd give it another chance. Something simple, like a medium fry and a Diet Coke, ordered at the drive-thru. Nope, they got it wrong....small fry and regular Coke. Had to go in and get it fixed. The server gave me attitude, telling me I had ordered a regular drink. Conveniently, they "forgot" to give me a receipt. BK lost my...
