Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Lexington

Went through the drive thru, a lady with bright red hair was taking orders outside the drive thru (Chic Fila style) while another person sat in a chair watching her. She was not friendly and didn't even greet us. After we ordered and paid we drove around to the window and once again, a not so very friendly person handed us drinks and then pulled us to a parking spot. After waiting what seemed like an eternity we received our food from another frowning face. Once we got home we realized that we got a small portion of cheddar bites that were burnt....and I do mean burnt black and too hard to eat. We asked for marinara sauce for them, instead they gave us ranch. We also asked for bbq sauce and spicy zax sauce instead of zax sauce for our chicken finger plates and we still received regular zax sauce, which I do not like...at all. I looked at the receipt to see if the lady who took our order entered our sauce request and of course she ignored our request, resulting in us not happy about our sauces. What is the point in asking what kind of sauce we would like, if you are just going to enter whatever you want? Zaxbys was easily our favorite fast food place in Lexington, but now we will avoid it at all cost bc of continuous issues like this over the past few trips. I guess we will drive just a little further, bypassing zaxbys, to get chicken from Chic FIl A...atleast they have amazing customer service and are always consistent with their food. The extra 3 min it takes to get there will actually save us more time in the long run, as they are fast and efficient and I know we would get what we asked for...

This Zaxby's location is always hit or miss. Maybe it's the nature of the drive thru but either you get hot, seemingly fresh food or it seems like it's been sitting out for awhile and then reheated. So when it's good, it's really good, but when it's bad, well you get the picture.

The staff is always very nice though. I typically get the chicken finger plate. The texas toast is good. And the crinkle cut fries are really good with their Zax sauce, as are the chicken fingers. Price's are a bit more than your typical fast food restaurant but it's worth it. They're usually pretty crowded at peak times so expect to wait if you're going through the drive thru.

Be careful when you're exiting the parking lot. People speed through that intersection, trying to make yellow lights or not paying attention. If you're on the shorter side, like myself. You might not be able to see over the bushes, which means you can't always see the traffic. Making a left turn out of here is often difficult when...

Where do I start??? Went to this locations on my lunch break after finally deciding what I wanted for lunch...BAD DECISION!!! Went through the drive through, which I couldn't understand what the lady was saying, because the intercom was very loud and muffled. She was asking me a question and I explained I couldn't make out what she was saying, then she preceded to yell at me because I couldn't hear nor understand what she was saying. Once I got to the window, I was still smiling and nice because you never know what people may do to your food. After I paid, I was asked to pull over to a parking spot, waited an additional 10 minutes after finally trying to get out of line (because the customer in front of me didn't pull up enough to wait for their food). To my surprise my food was cold...go figure!!! I will NEVER eat at this place or no other Zakby's again. Thanks, but NO THANKS!!!! Oh by way I rated them 1 star because I couldn't post without doing at least a star, so not deserving of...
