IHOP — Restaurant in Lexington

Very bad experience. When it first opened food was good & pancakes were fluffy.They're literally house of pancakes so I go because of my love for pancakes. My pancakes looked terrible coming out my husband got an order too and switched with me because his were the better of the 2. They were dry and very dark and tasted nasty. I have an onion allergy so I ordered no onions but my husband did. I ate a little more than half my omelet and got an onion and green pepper (his omelet had) i had to run to the bathroom to get sick. Was told there was no onion in my omelet by server. Rude!!!! My husband ordered a side of gravy it looked nasty i couldn't believe he tried it but after eating half way through he said he couldn't stomach it anymore. He tried pancakes and we all together only ate 1 small pancake out of 6 because of how nasty they were. We've not been there in months because of our last bad experience but had hoped for a new cook and or management. But we were told they weren't going to rectify because we do this often (been months since last visit and not even monthly visits before last bad visit). Gm wouldn't even come talk to us. Don't manage a restaurant if you can't handle criticism when you're over charging for nasty a$$ food. Our bill $41 for 2 omelet meals with just 1 side of pancakes(included with the meal) no extras, 2 drinks (tea & milk), small side of sausage gravy. So for that price yes I expect good tasting quality food and decent portions. We aren't the kind of people who need to complain to pay for our food. We just tell them when their workers aren't performing to our expectations for the price we're paying for our food/ services. I will never go back again. Some places just aren't the quality that they advertise....

Terrible experience all around, not one positive thing to say about this establishment. My Husband and I went in for an early dinner around 6:30, waiting in line to be seated. Hostess asked every other party if they would like a table or a booth, we didn’t get the option. Rudely seated. Our waiter was either drunk or challenged.. sat with empty cups that only came half full the first time for about 10-15 minutes finally got asked “do y’all want more drinks” well obviously. Forgotten condiments and had to wait over 20 minutes after we were done to get the check. The person seated to the left of us, also with the same waiter ordered turkey gravy, they served him with a plate smothered with beef gravy and said “sorry we’re out of turkey”. Shouldn’t the gentleman been told this before they put it all over his plate? The food was absolutely terrible, we realized very quickly after we were served what took so long for the food to come out was the fact that our chicken tenders were charred. I got a stack of pancakes as well, my Husband ordered waffles. My pancakes were extremely undercooked and were still batter in the middle, they were cold to the touch. The butter on them did not even melt. My Husbands waffles were so overcooked he went to cut them and they crumbled like a used piece of firewood.

These people are so unprofessional and rude. I asked if I could redeem all my tokens at one time because I never used them before. And the girl said yes. Let's see start from beginning. First took over hr to get cold pancakes and I do mean cold. Then we had to ask for silverware twice. Which the little girl was the only one working apparently other than the smart mouth little boy in the back. They couldn't get codes to work so told me the manager on phone said if I had no way to pay for my food I needed to leave my ID like no way I was leaving my I'd. Get for real. I said please call your manager let me speak to them this lady was soo rude out the gate running her mouth had no clue what she was talking about. Started talked trash guess they fit in together because the little boy when brought phone for me to talk to manager said loudly with attitude don't touch my phone. Like anyone wanted his nasty Little phone. Then manager on phone was running off at mouth instead of trying to figure things out. Talking about how I already used my codes I said the girl seen my points and I just added to wallet and they are not out of date they are good till July of next year. The little nasty boy kept making jokes like I was stupid. And laughing when he kept saying I ordered things I didn't order. This was supposed to...
