Taco Bell — Restaurant in Lexington

Had to send my order back FOUR different times - one employee was high out of her mind, and kept loudly asking how to make basic menu items. I’ve seen her on multiple different occasions over the months. She’s been there long enough to have a grasp on the menu. If you’re so stoned that you don’t know even remember how to make a burrito, and to the point that multiple customers can tell… don’t show up to work high. There was a guy counting the tills who was $23 short, claiming that every customer he’d had recently had paid in exact cash, and how it wasn’t his fault. Seems like the cash is either in his pocket, or someone’s meal got comped. He was super snarky with customers who’d received incorrect orders, even stating that “It’s called fast food, not correct food!” At first, my order was given to the wrong person, causing the entire order to be remade. Then, every sauce was missing. After that, I noticed my grilled cheese burrito wasn’t even in the bag - and when I ended up receiving it, it hadn’t even been grilled. Our side of nacho fries was also nowhere to be seen and the taco I’d ordered was made with steak instead of chicken - and yes, I triple checked my order on the kiosk. As this unfolded, around four different people came up beside me at the counter with similar issues regarding their food. I have worked food service (restaurant & fast food) for years - I do currently, and this sort of behavior is appalling. Most of the employees were apologetic, and it isn’t their fault that they have to deal with a few incompetent coworkers. I genuinely sympathize with that. But I placed my order at 7:58PM, and I didn’t get it until a manager had to take over around 8:50PM. I've always enjoyed this particular location. Yesterday, however, was a different experience.

I ordered a Chicken Cantona bowl for someone else. They did enjoy it. I also ordered a tea. The tea was super light colored. I made a comment about how weak the tea looked, and the girl working the window was more concerned with talking to her co-workers than providing service at the window.

I just decided to leave rather than hold up the line. As I started home I tasted the tea which had a fermented taste. I could not drink it. I also realized I had forgotten to get a drink for the other person. I went back and ordered the other drink. I told them I had just been there and gotten a tea that tasted soured. I asked if they had punch or HiC. They said they had fruit punch. So, I ordered that. I would of liked to have been offered a drink replacement since I paid for the 1st one. They happily took my money. The second drink tasted like a weak version of Gatorade it was awful. I didn't go back and ask for a 3rd drink because I was already in for $6

Ok so first off, anything negative I say I want to add a disclaimer, The Staff were really nice. It was late, Maybe they wernt having the best night, but please dont take anything from this review believing the staff were rude because they wernt, the staff were nice, but the food could have been better done by me, and ive been baked for 4 days straight, and barly got any sleep last night, The tacos guac was in a dollop in the center, so I had to use a fork to actully put the guac on the food so to speak, but hey, atleast they know how to make a killer burrito, the soda machine was dripping more than ny dog when she needs to be walked and im couch locked, the "Taco wizards" had been slayn by voldemort briefly before I arrived, which tracks, because my food felt like it was made by ole no nose himself. as my brother said, I ordered from taco bell, not the big top circus.
