I LOVED Chick-fil-A! Couldn't wait for the grand opening! So, that was pretty much my first review with a 5 star review. Now, I'm sorry to say, my opinion has very much changed. I saw where someone else said the chicken was raw, and it was. My first trip it was all good. Down hill after that. When we got the raw chicken, I called the manager and told him so. It was a to-go order. I took my first bite, and it was awful. I opened the bun, and looked at the chicken, and it was very crispy, so I took a second bite. Nope, it was not done! I spit it out, and threw it in the trash. Somebody is turning up the temp on the chicken, and it looks done on the outside, but it is not done in the middle. After my complaint, I was assured it would be addressed. So, my husband was coming back from W-Salem, and I had him pick up our dinner. Same damn thing! It wasn't raw this time, but it was not done! Since we didn't have a Chick fli A here in Lexington, I'd always make it a point of stopping at one when we traveled. Greensboro, Winston Salem, Burlington, Durham, and Raleigh. I loved it that much. My husband just went out to pick us up some dinner tonight, and I picked Burger King! Never, ever would have done that if a Chick Fil A was an option. If Lexington can't get this right, they need a new manager. I don't think they know, you can't cook chicken faster by just turning up the heat. It crossed my mind that maybe bringing it home made it taste funny, and feel chewy and squeaky on my teeth. Then I realized, my husband has driven 35 minutes to Salisbury, and 35 minutes back to get us Chick fil A, and it never tasted like this. Somebody better do some quality control research at this store. I don't want to get anybody in trouble, but taking short cuts is ruining your food! I just wish I could get the same chicken sandwich here, as I can get all across NC. Came back to add one more thing. This does not apply to the Lexington store, but to some of the others. When I get nuggets, I don't mind if they give me marble sized ones, as long as they give me 2 to equal one real piece. That''s how they used to do it. Not now! You get an 8 piece, you get 6 regular sized ones, and 2...
Read moreI am disgusted after my order this afternoon. My wife works in the medical field, she wanted to treat her staff working today to lunch. So she asked me to place and pick up the order. I placed the order at 9:45 and planned on picking it up at 11:30. I called this location and asked a team member if they could pack the meals in seperate bags and then but it into one beg bag, I wanted to check everything and it would make it easier to pass out. This wasnât done and the manager that helped me out to my car assured me everything was checked and they got everything. WRONG, drove 20 minutes to her work started passing out meals and several items were missed. Drove 20 minutes back to pick up items missed and it only got worse. I proceeded to wait for 20 minutes before getting helped. I shouldnât have to ask for someone to help me or assist me. If im standing at the counter typically means I need to speak with someone. After finally getting helped I once again played the waiting game, my missed items finally came out after 15 minutes, Or so I thought! I checked the bag and out of the several items that were missed from the first go around, they only put 1 item in the bag. Yes thatâs right my order was wrong for the second time. So I asked them to get the remainder of my order and just left. One for a company that strives on pleasing the customer I was the opposite. I left there so disappointed in the food and in the service. I mean not only did they get it wrong once but twice and the worst thing about it, was no one apologized for the mistake or offered any refunds or discount on my next time dining or anything. Needless to say I doubt this will be seen by the franchise owner or someone on a corporate level but if I can inform the other customers about the clear violation of there policy on customer service, I will. Time to get your act together, because itâs only a matter of time before something bigger and better comes along and your right behind places like McDonalds or...
Read moreWe Will be Taking this Chick-fil-A off our Annual Visit to the Lexington Area. We are an AFJROTC Unit from Charlotte, and we come out to Kersey Valley for the High Ropes in the afternoon & stay late for Spooky Woods adventure each year. Afterwards we always stop at this particular store. This time we arrived just after a light rain had started and as the Cadets were getting off the Bus, I noticed some of them were standing in the street in front of the drive thru order sign. As I went out, 2 cadets were coming back saying they wasn't going to stand in the rain. I walked up to the door and a young, polite worker said that due to Covid they could not let anyone in the Dining area to order. I said ok, but for Safety Reasons, could you send someone out with the WiFi Ordering Pads, so the Cadets didn't have to stand in the driving lines only to have to walk up to the drive-up windows along with the moving vehicles. Again, with a smile and very Polite, ooh no she said, we just pulled them inside and we are also short handed...? I thought Really...?? You have 18 Students, amongst 2-lanes of traffic, in the rain, trying to order food, and Chich-fil-A, a strong Christian Based Company is now showing absolutely Zero Compassion, Caring, Concern or SAFETY, that Chick-fil-A prides themselves on. What you are really basically saying is "Forget You, we're trying to close...!" with a smile and Very politely and respectful mind you, which she was. The reason I say they seemed to be more focused on Closing, although it was just around 9:00pm, I noticed two young men mopping and cleaning, another person counting money or supply's and they just had a sense of closing. Even an older couple driving by, couldn't believe they allowed soo many students to stand out in the rain and walk up between cars to get their meals... Policy or not, I thought is was a poor decision. As for me, it is a mistake I Won't Make again, next year we'll be stopping...
