We came here a while back with my family to order some corn on the cob, we were excited to go support a new small business near us. We ordered one yogurt, nachos, 3 corn on the cob, and one agua Fresca. Everything tasted nicely, and the experience was overall amazing but when we came home to eat the corn, it had a lot of brown and black/green corn pieces. Which is a sign of expired corn,, so we returned and asked about why they were still selling this as it was inedible and wrong. In return the staff member replied that she didnāt understand the issue and that just because the corn was āblackā didnāt mean it was spoiled but rather just overcooked. This was irritating because not only is selling expired corn wrong but still selling overcooked corn is just as wrong. While the other staff seemed to obviously quickly want to resolve this by giving us our money back,, thatās no excuse to not check your products before selling it. If any of us had eaten that corn without even noticing the difference in the color, we wouldāve been sick the next day and confused to why we were. Plus, the others they served throughout the day probably had stomach issues just because the staff failed to overcheck the food before sending it out. Who in the world sends out food that quickly doesnāt look okay to be eaten?
Donāt recommend, wouldnāt return, and overall would rather give my business to those who sell good not expired or overcooked corn in...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI tried this place when they first opened not too long ago thinking that it was like the other Michiocanaās, but it definitely isnāt. Although they have similarities itās definitely not the same in flavor. I ordered the cheesecake ice cream when I got home there was barely any pieces of cheesecake in it. I counted maybe four pieces. A few months later, I decided to give this place another shot Ordered the same thing and it was the same issue except this time there was no cheesecake chunks inside. I guess they donāt put a lot of pieces of cheesecake like the other Michiocanaās do. Another time I went and ordered a cup of prepared corn. This was not as tasteful as I thought it would be. Iām guessing comparing them to the little trucks that you find in the park isnāt a great thing but for so many years buying from the little park trucks, I know what flavor to expect and thatās not it. They donāt use sweetcorn not sure if itās canned corn that they use or not, but itās definitely not sweet corn. Overall, the place is clean, The staff is definitely teenagers. But if you want the real deal Go into the city thereās actually one further east on Belmont...
