There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. We have been dying to try it since the reopening, and finally got to this passed weekend. The owner was onsite and cooking, bussing, cashing out, and serving tables. Brings "hands on" to a whole new level as the boss. We have a couple picky kiddos on our hands, and all four of ours, love this place! The sushi was fresh. My husband is obsessed with sushi and was taken back in a good way, about their sushi! The appetizers came out fast, we had gyoza and jalapeno crazy... The gyoza was the best we have ever had the pleasure of eating. The jalapeno crazy, my new favorite ... So so so good. When we saw this place, we figured "why not," and we are so glad we dropped in. The owner isn't afraid to help seat guests and take their orders. We noticed a very comfortable and safe environment for the employees and customers as well. The owner is a charming guy who deserves praise for how efficiently he runs his shop. The food came out in a flurry with appetizers out in two minutes and food closely following at the five minute mark. I am impressed to say the least. We had an incredible experience at Yu Sushi! After mentioning to our waitress that we drove an hour based on the glowing reviews, she let the owner know. He personally came out to check on us, making sure everything was perfect. His kindness and hospitality stood out, and he even offered a discount to encourage us to come back. The food?
