Offerdahl's Off-The-Grill (Lighthouse Point) — Restaurant in Lighthouse Point

I don't follow any sports and therefore did not recognize the name as a former Miami Dolphins player. I was only here for breakfast while waiting on my car to get serviced across the street. I was honestly blown away, it seems they have several locations around Broward county it's NOT (what I first thought) an impersonal corporate owned chain restaurant. Most of the menu items for breakfast looked great and I ended up being unable to decide, I asked lady at the register to decide for me as often they know what is a favorite of customers and made best. Was not disappointed by her suggestion. Cold brew coffee was good and rich in flavor. The floors and bathrooms are spotless clean. Decorated with inspiring one of a kind items like a bench covered in repurposed jeans. Music from the early 90's . I saw that the establishment contributes to groups that provide assistance for children without fathers. Other signs of contributions to the local community along with a table of business cards from local businesses. Not only does this place serve great food they are a strong supporter of the local community while still maintaining a "mom and pop" feel. I may never own a restaurant, but if I did I would like it to be exactly like this one.

Edit added on 10/17/24 stopped by with my son after a doctor's appointment for lunch. Noticed an employees son (looked to be too early for VPK) he was quietly practicing his handwriting. An employer that can accommodate the unique needs of their employees, being able to keep an eye on their kids while they work. That is a true blessing.

Today, it was beyond rare to go anywhere and receive any nice or helpful advice considerate as kind customer service today.

This is not the case at all at Offerdahls. Every single person I engage with there has a smile on their face, they’re happy to engage with my sometimes I’m sure annoying questions , and they always have a genuine smile on their faces.

while everyone is truly amazing at this location, I especially appreciate GiGi. She goes out of her way to remember me even my email which is weird.

I can’t rave enough about this store and its staff. Customer service is probably the most important aspect of a store’s success and offerdahls has it down pat.

Please found a B2B company to train all of the other customer service departments around town where the reps are nasty and not to be rude but...

Depending on what you order, you may not get real eggs..... I see that the restaurant has responded. I looked online and other people have left similar comments. Some even have pictures of the eggs that I received. I can guarantee you that they were not cracked from an eggshell. Perhaps this location is doing something different. Maybe someone should from upper management should go by and order the Farmhand breakfast with scrambled eggs to see what they received. What me and my sister received was not edible and was not real eggs from an eggshell.
