Amigos/Kings Classic — Restaurant in Lincoln

I wouldn't normally bother to review Amigos because I expect to leave here hating myself for paying their prices but this store is getting dangerous. I think their steam table is actually broken or the managment has some twisted plan to cut their electric costs.

The meat and beans haven't been melting the cheese at this location for a while now which says a lot since they probably couldn't shred the cheese any finer without it becoming powdered cheese. I noticed that again today except it was on a half dozen tacos. Tacos that weren't falling apart because of all the grease like they normally do. Greasy wet tacos is practically their trademark and these were too cold for the grease to be fluid. Yikes!

It's getting out of hand. I don't want any freebies or nonsense excuses. I want melted cheese and greasy buttom tacos. Please fix the problem whether it's a broken steam table or the manager requiring employees here to use the equipment in a potentially dangerous manner.

Plus let's be real, it's not a big deal throwing a cold combo burrito in microwave maybe even a soft taco if ya like cooked lettuce but microwaved hard shell tacos...

The staff are horrible. They used to be mediocre but in the last few months, the place has taken a nose dive. The morning staff are especially incompetent. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of choices in the area. If I go for coffee in the morning, i spend half the time repeating my simple mocha order over and over. I keep a polite tone, i do not want spit in my drink and they still act rude. I pull up,usually the only person in the drive-thru at that time. I have sat outside the window for up to 10 minutes at a time. The staff doesn't come to greet you, take your payment, nothing. You just sit there. Then they open the window, grab your card while repeating the total, no Hi, no Sorry for the wait. Come back, give me my card or change back and I sit another couple minutes. I swear it's true, 9 out of 10 times, there is something wrong with my coffee and on top of that, the cup is usually covered in spilled coffee they half ass'd tried to clean off. I freaking hate it. That's just for ordering coffee. I don't even bother trying to order...

Wow! The reviews are so stupid! Complaining about LIVING 5 MILES away. Do they not realize thats shorter than most distances? Check your food after you get it then. Common sense. This is fast food. Not a 5 star restaurant. Some of you all are so ENTITLED. ITS FAST FOOD. It wont be perfect. You have an issue then bring it back instead of rating bad especially when they replace it for you. Idk why the one girls saying she "wasted 14 dollars" and they gave her 10 dollars in coupons and shes Soooo mad that she wont come back. Like grow up. You basically only spent 4 dollars then. A bunch of adults acting like children in these reviews. Places have extremely mean workers and these workers are so nice. Rather have a few mess ups then rude workers. Best amigos...
