Zhang’s — Restaurant in Lincoln

I searched Chinese food open near me, and Zhang's was the closest that was open at 930pm. I called and asked if I could still order food. She said yes and took my order. She said 10 minutes. I was a little worried ordering food so late as my experience working in food (10 years in restaurants) usually the worker or workers are just trying to get cleaned up and out of there. I came in about 10 minutes and to my surprise the place seemed bustling, multiple people working and another lady walked in same time for take out as well. I could tell these people work hard and take pride in the establishment. It was bright inside and clean with no funky smells. The food was amazing (I got the combo Mei Fun). Never had before but wow definitely a new favorite! All the meats were tender and not overcooked z the veggies were bright in color and fresh with a little crunch, the noodles were very flavorful. I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants in Lincoln and this one definitely made the top 3 and would have been #1 if the sweet and sour was a little more sweet and a little thicker (just my personal preference). Was really looking forward to ordering from this establishment.

I was told by the nurses at Madonna Hospital that Zahngs was the best Asian delivery around and that they had ordered from them several times.

I called both locations, the first one on Yankee Hill Rd said they had no time to do any delivery orders, the other on Coddington said they could deliver, but needed a $29 min order. Sdo I added to my order since I only had a $23 order. Then after going through all the order process I am told no, they won't deliver because its 17 miles away but on Google maps it's it only a 5 mile delivery.

I'm very disipointed in both Zahngs locations for first advertising delivery hours until 9pm. Then when I try to order at 6pm one location says they dont have time for me, the other says I'm too far away when it's only a 10 to 12 min drive.

I'm in a hospital so I cannot leave to get the order myself. Very unhappy, and doubt I will ever know if Zahngs is as good as they claim.

I am just glad I did not place my order using their online order service. I would then be stuck with no food, and have to try and track someone down...

On November 9th, my daughter and I came in to order shrimp chow mein. We placed the order to go and when my daughter took it home and opened it, she called me to let me know they gave us the wrong order. When I came back to let them know we got the wrong order, they looked at me like I was crazy, and doubted that I was telling the truth. I showed them pictures of what chow mein was and what we have gotten at previous restaurants when we order chow mein, and she adamantly said that it was not chow mein and I was wrong, and they were right. She kept raising her voice at me! Never once did she offer me another option or an apology for the misunderstanding. This was horrible service and I will never be returning. Which is unfortunate because I used to go all the time with the previous owners. It definitely is not the same!!

P.S. They say they open at 11am -- there have been multiple times where I have driven there at 11:15am, and the doors are locked and "Open" sign is not turned on. I guess they don't...
