McDonald's — Restaurant in Lincoln

I’ve unfortunately been to this location on 3 occasions.

1st: After paying at the drive through, I was asked to pull forward and wait. I was in a hurry at the time so I drove off as soon as the food was brought to me (~10 minutes after ordering). One burger was missing from my order. And the burger that they did give me was cold.

2nd: I arrived at around 1am and was told their system was down, and they weren’t accepting orders.

3rd (and last): I again arrived at around 1am (it’s the only place open in the area at this time). I was greeted by the same woman as the 2nd occasion, and this time was told that their system just started an update. This time I was a bit desperate, so I decided to pull into the lot and wait 30 minutes and try again. I was told the exact same thing.

In other words, I’ve been to the location 3 times, and in all three visits I was either unable to order, or I received only half of my order cold. I’ve never experienced anything like this at any other fast...

This place is the most hit and miss place in all of Lincoln! When they're good they're good but that's a rare occasion. I still go cause I LOVE McDonald's but if you have a chance to hit up a different McD's then do that. I will say there are 2 people that work there that make it better. One is a store manager named Matthew and the other is a crew trainer named Peggy. I'm sure there's other staff that are great but those two in my book save the place. I've experienced managers and staff here that were absolutely not meant to be around the general public and if not for Matthew I wouldn't have returned at all after I had a particularly bad experience there. Stopped by to purchase a sandwich before work. They were very busy. I asked for the triple cheeseburger that is advertised on t.v for $2.00 and the manager said they don’t have that. So, I asked for the special that you buy one and get one for a dollar. MANAGER said they didn’t have that either and I asked why it is advertised on there sign when you come in and got no answer except that it is no longer on special.
