NEW DAY Coffee + Smoothies — Restaurant in Lincoln

This place started off strong but have since gone downhill. The coffee is pretty good but the food is very inconsistent. It will come out raw/cold one day and overcooked/burnt the next day. When I approached them with a raw pastry, they told me they would refund my money because they didn’t have any thoroughly cooked pastries at that time. After they walked away and made a phone call to management, they quickly changed their tune and told me I could have a 3 day old oatmeal bar instead. When I asked if I could just have a gift card for a future visit, they pretended like they didn’t know how to ring up the gift card… how do 3 people behind the counter not know how to sell a gift card?
