Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Lincoln

I had the worst experience at this location. After waiting for over thirty minutes for my order, the cook, who had walked from the kitchen twice noticed that I had not received my order. He asked me what did I order. After sharing my order, he went and spoke to the cashier and the manager. I continued to wait for an additional five minutes or so (total wait time 35 minutes) before being told that my order was ready. When I went to receive my order, the manager very rudely states to me that the next time that I have not received an order, I should tell someone at the front and not the cook. I responded to the manager that the cook asked me what I had ordered after he noticed me sitting there so long. The manager then responds well I will speak with him later. She never apologized for the extremely long wait time nor for the fact that they had obviously overlooked my order until "the cook" brought it to their attention. Extremely rude 2 younger women at front counter. Upon walking in and saying "hello" they proceeded to laugh in my face (in a very strange way without moving her mouth) and she said "what can I get for you...." to me. Then (to other girl who now turned her back) " I don't know I already told her what can I get for you!" The other girl with a turned back said somethkng about "she has that receipt" (the coupon) I just stared at both of them like really? So, I walked out. Other customers saw this. Leaving the 5 stars for the 2 nice gentleman working here around lunchtime at the cashier. Very polite in addressing everyone and quick to fix any issues that arise. The chicken is still juicy and not dry like some locations and the portion is huge! This piece I have is about half the tray. The spicy chicken is actually spicy and they have some great promos going on. Only issue I had was they accidentally put spicy in the mild box vice versa but all overlooked for the wonderful staff up front.
