A big disappointment. We've eaten at enough Mexican restaurants to know quickly which ones are good and are not. I knew going on the door this wasn't a good location. I was proven right.

The house margaritas were just ok. The meat in the tacos 🌮 had very little seasoning and was already soggy when it came to the table. The chile relleno IS ALWAYS supposed to be in a poblano pepper.... ALWAYS! They used a bell pepper which is not authentic and throws off the whole taste. That right there ruined it for me. The enchiladas were cold on the bottom and soggy and were not good at all. My wife and I won't be back even though we pass by it fairly often on the way to Birmingham. A much better option is La Posada next to Walmart...

this was tuff to review. the shrimp cocktail was good and it saved the review. the wait staff too. but, the salsa was just tomatoe puree from a can, and it's free but way too sweet and nothing much was homemaid, cmon. I used a third bottle of Topatio to try to revive it. the queso reminded me of milk but it was ok. if not for the shrimp and onion and avocado and good price on the cocktail.... And, the building is just a pig in lipstick. The birthday table next to us had a great time. the AC didn't seem to work. so, the food was good and the place was lively but they need to send the owner on a learning expedition to my review from n Vegas, that place is awesome,...

Great food, fair prices and plenty of room to find a spot to sit. The cheese sauce that was put on my burrito was totally awesome. My wife really enjoyed her tamale, too. The complimentary chips and salsa are very good, as well. Waitress was quick to refill our drinks. However, my wife had asked for UNsweetened tea, not sweetened. She gets it, most folks down here drink sweet tea. But, God gives us two ears for a reason. We had to keep waiting on our check, too, and just went to the register to pay it. Really this is a 4.5 star review because of those two reasons. But, we'll just round this up since you can't...
