Starbucks, where did you go wrong? Let me break it down: service standards and store cleanliness. The drinks are hit or miss these days, and honestly, I gave you a couple stars just for that. But the service? OMG!!! Why?
The employees at this location argue with customers and get upset at the slightest thing. I went to the Twelve Bridges location yesterday—drive-thru, actually—and it was a complete mess. My daughter even asked me to go, and I was extremely reluctant because I know how bad this spot is.
Bad doesn’t even cover it—this location is horrible. The staff seems to think that customers are privileged to be there and need to show gratitude for them making our drinks, as if they’re free!
Anyway, I ordered two drinks, and after a 20-minute wait, I finally got my chance to bow down before the cashier. “Hello, fine lady, how is your day today?” I said, avoiding eye contact lest I turn to stone—not literally, but close.
I politely told her that after 20 minutes of waiting and reevaluating my life choices, I only wanted one drink instead of two. That’s when she exploded! She told me everyone has to wait—inside or out—it’s always 20 minutes. Then she informed me they were short-handed.
I saw my chance to help and asked, “Would you like me to staff your establishment for you?” That’s when she accused me of being rude! I calmly asked, “What’s the point of telling me you’re short-staffed? It has nothing to do with me buying a $15 cup of coffee.”
Her rant continued until I finally surrendered: “I give up. You win. I’ll leave.” Starbucks, what happened to treating customers with respect and maintaining a professional environment? This location needs...
Read moreI am getting a little sick of Starbucks and their “we no longer have a button for that” agenda, especially the 640 Twelve Bridges Dr, Lincoln, Ca Starbucks. Every Thursday when I pick up my grand children from school we have “Thirsty Thursday”, as this is the last day I have to pick them up. I use to order the Java Chip Mocha Frap. Last time I ordered it I was charged $.80 extra for the Java chips, because they no longer had a button for Java Chip Frap. Okay, the menu changes, so I just stop ordering that item. I always order my grandson A Cream base Cookie Crumble, no coffee, as he is 12. I ordered one on Friday, and today, Thursday, I placed my usual order and noticed on the drive thru menu that I was being charged an $.50 for chips and another $.50 for cookie crumbs. When I questioned this up charged I was told that Starbucks no longer had a “cream base” button, so they would have to build the Frap and charge for ingredients-note you don’t get a REDUCTION when you exclude coffee from the Frap, but cookie crumbs cost an extra &.50. I was upcharged $1.00 for this drink to have it without coffee. This is stupid and ridiculous. I’m going to look for an alternative treat for my grand children this...
Read moreEdit: Wanted to come back and edit my review a little bit, I went to this Starbucks yesterday because it was close to my work and I had a gift card, it seems like they have really gotten their act together since the last time I was here the employee who took my order was fantastic and some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. Changed my perspective of this store, wish I had gotten his name. The food was freshly made and it was wonderful!
Really frustrating how many times I have tried to go here this week and it says the store is open yet I arrive and it is closed. I’ve gone three days this week and it was closed with no explanation at all. If the website says you’re open….you should be open or change it on the site so people don’t waste their time coming. Yesterday I went to get coffee before work, closed…@9am. Then when I drove by at 3pm I noticed it was suddenly open??! It just doesn’t make sense the random times they decide to open and close Edit: now that they are open regularly they barely have anything in stock and never have what I want. Done with going to this Starbucks. Sucks cause it’s the closest one to me but I’d rather go to one that is...
