Excellent experience - relaxed dinner for two on their outdoor patio (a large screened porch). The location is excellent, parking is easy, and they take call ahead reservations. The service is outstanding, I will point out that it isn't "fast food" so be prepared to wait a bit, and that does help make for a more relaxed evening. This restaurant is in the train station, and if you (literally) have a train to catch, you may want to check if there is a later train. The food was very good but I have two quibbles - yes, quibbles. 1. The selection, especially if you are a vegetarian, is very limited. 2. I ordered the beyond burger on a bed of greens or gouse salad (no bun), and fries. You can see what I got. The bed of greens was not really a bed, there was no salad, and they forgot the fries. Now, they remedied the fries quickly and made lovely fresh, crispy fries for me and I enjoyed them. But ... at this price point, when I ask for caramelized onions on my burger, I don't expect to get them in a little plastic container. Same for the ketchup. For a 13-15 dollar burger, I would expect a little better presentation - after all they have good silverware and good napkins, not plastic spoons and paper towels. Yes, I did say quibble, but that's why I am at 4 stars not 5. We were served by a most wonderful young man who was attentive to allergies, and we had a nice chat with him afterwards. A great experience, but maybe they should look to the finer points of their experience, and I will up to 5 stars when I go there next.

We had a late brunch on a recent Sunday afternoon and we had a delightful time. It is a small but cozy place with a very friendly vibe, but also fairly busy at certain times. On this visit we had a number of things, with the highlights being the Poutine serving, the Humus plate, the Winter Salad and the Clam Chowder for starters. The appetizers were just phenomenal, very flavorful, especially the Poutine. Equally savory and delicious were the Salmon and Sirloin steak entree’s. The Salmon was done perfectly and the steak was very juicy and mouth watering. Our server Sarah was absolutely fantastic, and made our meal that much more enjoyable. We finished with the Crème brûlée and coffee and could not help but contemplate our return visit. If you are in the area and want a great meal with an inviting atmosphere, this place would be a great choice.

WARNING: My food was very, very bad. I am shocked at how high the reviews are of this restaurant. I came on a Saturday night at 8pm. I was really looking forward to the Tack Room. The menu is hip and cool - and it has a nice atmosphere. Oh my goodness - the food is so bland, so unseasoned, and so rubbery - I could not eat it. I should not have paid the bill. I am regretting not taking Scott's offer. Stuffed Calamari: Rubbery. Unseasoned. I should not have even swallowed it. Bolognese: Did the Chef salt any of this? The meat? The pasta water? What was going on here? It looks great. It is horrendous. Flatbread of the day: You could have made this in your home kitchen. The Tack Room is horrific. I would appreciate a call from management. (No issue with Service. Scott/Griffin were totally fine.)

We ordered a bottle of red wine, they swapped it for a blend and didn't tell us, comped us 20%, didn't cover cost of wine. Service was very slow, had to ask for things multiple times. French onion soup had lots of cheese. Flavor was just ok. Crispy onions on top of soup were cold. Sirloin steak was done really well, taisted great. Bolagnase was just ok, could have come from a jar. The salmon was good. Got the chocolate trio for desert. Canoli taisted spoilt. Hot chocolate was like a paste, very dark or burnt flavor, not enjoyable. Cookie with ice cream was good. Ordered espresso at end, charged us, but never brought it. Had to have it removed from bill. Was certainly not impressed for the money. The place is clean. Staff was friendly when they did show up. The place was clean, but very crowded.

Not too bad of a place, just one of those places where the math doesn't quite work out to end on a full five star rating. It's in the Wayland, Lincoln area, so I imagine they have a lot of customers with a lot of money who are really only getting the food as a cocktail or craft beer accessory. The wings are good. They're crispy, I ate every single bite and the lettuce. But at $16 for 8 wings? That's $2 a wing! I don't even get a free dipping sauce at $2 a wing? The wings are good, but what I'm getting for what I'm paying just doesnt quite make true 5 territory. Gimme a sauce and a couple more wings, or don't charge $16 for 8 wings and no sauce, otherwise it's just a pass.

It’s an American food with a twist, located on the small town 30 mins from Boston. The menu is interesting and creative. I was tempted but afraid to try dishes like stuffed calamari with alligator meat. We wanted to tried duck confit burger but unfortunately the did not have it that day. We ended up ordered pulled pork burger and spare ribs. Both dishes were delicious! The French fried was a giant portion and so well done. Our server was very attentive and jolly. The ambiance was like a more updated tavern. It has ample of parking.
