First of all, I never write reviews for anything ever. I don’t have the patience for it, but I felt compelled to after what happened today. I have been hearing about this place for a while, but never got around to going, but this morning I woke up with a hankering for some home style biscuits and gravy so I decided to give Tina’s a try. I ordered and it was brought to my attention that breakfast was over. I had missed it by 20 minutes. Noticing my visible disappointment, the waitress followed up with “...but we may have some gravy left, let me go check.” Jackpot! In retrospect, I should have went with a half order, but you know how hankerings go. As I sit here stuffed to the gills with some of the best biscuits and gravy (and hash browns) ever, I thought that I’d take the time to write out a review. Amazing food! Amazing service! More than generous portions! Reasonably priced. (I’ve paid far more, for far less) Parking is tricky, but worth it. I missed out on the cinnamon roll, but I’m so full right now that food doesn’t even sound appealing. I am one very satisfied customer! Anyway, I’m going to...
Read moreFirst time customer at Tina’s and they did not disappoint! Husband and I walked in a little after 8am on a Saturday morning, only spots left were at the bar and one large table.
Food: 5* We ordered the cinnamon roll to share and wow it’s huge! The picture is what we had leftover to take home!
Their hash browns are legit the best I’ve ever had. I asked the waitress if they were fresh shaved potatoes (they are) , and she was able to proudly explain the process to me. Chicken fried steak was great as well.
Service: 5* The waitresses working were very attentive, both would ask if we needed anything as they walked by. Super friendly and personable!
Atmosphere: 5* Clearly some racing fans decorated! Love the small diner feel with the atmosphere.
Side note, be sure to check hours before going! Posted hours are closed after 2pm M-F. Closed on Sundays and have a short open time...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to try this place as we love going to diners. I had read reviews about this place before we went and the reviews made me feel it was going to be a home run. That was not the case. My wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger on sour dough bread. Now me being a big bacon fan looked forward to trying her burger. But the bacon did not smell very appetizing to me, it actually made me nauseous. The burger itself was very greasy, as if it wasn't put anywhere to rest and to drain excess fat. I ordered a bowl of chili and I really felt that there wasn't anything special about it. I could have had that chili anywhere. The service was lacking. It wasn't that busy when we were there not to mention this place is tiny. The waitress seemed to be overwhelmed. The restaurant itself was...
