I have been giving this restaurant my business for over 15 years now and I don’t know what’s gotten into them recently but it needs to go back to the old way. I ordered Togo and yes I arrived shortly after closing which I asked the owner on the phone before placing the order if this was ok. She said oh yes that’s fine we still have a few tables you’re fine! Well when I arrive the last table is leaving I walk in to pay for my food. And the OWNER herself said to me “since you are here after closing and my server had to wait you have to leave a tip” “she said servers make very low salaries”. I am also a server! I have worked in a restaurant since I was in high school so I know proper restaurant etiquette. I always tip. Even if the server is not the best I still tip. I left this girl 5 bucks on a 9 dollar tab. What makes me so mad is that the owner TOLD me I had to tip. I told her that I was also a server and that I know exactly what is right and what’s wrong. What’s wrong is that she told me coming a few mins after was fine and then at arrival tellin me I have to tip as if I was such a burden even though their last table was walking out as I walked in. The MAN that owns the place along with his wife is a lot nicer. He is always very professional and polite but...
Read moreIts ok. Nothing special about this place. Service was good and fast. HOWEVER.....It was WAY too loud in there to even attempt a conversation. Hint...turn the music down then people don't have to yell to be heard across the table. Asked waiter for recommendation. My father got the fajitas and I got the super deluxe burrito both recommended as the "the best dishes we have!" Well, here to tell you we were very disappointed. Neither dish had basic Tex-Mex seasoning such as salt, garlic, cilantro or peppers. In fact, the salsa had no peppers in it either..it looked & tasted like chopped up tomatoes with a skimpy amount of cilantro. I actually had to ask for Tabasco or something to give it any kind of kick. Back to the meals. The burrito was covered with some sort of sweet creme sauce in stead of green chili or red chili sauce and there was no cheese whatsoever. The fajitas were cooked a way too high a temp that they were burned and stuck to the pan. For $40, getting 2 of the best dishes they have, I really expected a lot better. Best I can say is....it filled the void. I personally won't...
Read moreWe went here today to eat dinner and the manager was mopping the floor when we walked in he continued to mop while we waited to be seated when he was finally finished mopping he came and seated us. That was just the beginning he acted like he didn't want us there at all after we were seated he returned to get our drink orders my 3 kids ordered sodas and politely asked for regular glasses he then looked at me and said he was putting their drinks in to go cups with lids to make it easier. I told him they asked for regular glasses which they drink out of regularly because they are not toddler children and that I am sorry if he didn't like it because he was possibly worried about spills. He said fine fine no problem and continued to mumble under his breath. My husband and I got our children and left. We will not go back here to eat after how rude this...
