Pizza Inn — Restaurant in Lincolnton

I have supported this place and business since the day they opened and technically before when the owner or manager of the business come to my store handing out little papers to my employees trying to get an offer jobs to them. About a year ago I started a diet to get healthier and to lose weight and I cannot have many carbs at all or breads and this place was one of the few places I could go because I could eat the toppings off of pizza or their bread. I asked many times from several different employees including the quote unquote want to be manager if they were upset about it and they always said no my money paid for the buffet and I can eat how I wanted to. So today I've been informed that for the past few times I've been there because I don't eat the bread of my pizza I've been charged the a $2.50 waist charge. By law they're not allowed to do that I've already talked to the better Business bureau. There's no sign whatsoever on their menus on their website or in their store and by law they're not allowed to do that. So they're glorified frozen pizza is not worth it. I supported them when many people have not come to that store and have complained about them. I do feel sorry for the staff and I see why they don't keep people. So I've decided I'm going to legally see what my options are about them charging and illegal charge to customers at will. My advice is pay attention to the charge and what they charge your credit cards or charge you when you go to pay for yours. The place is not worth it and the older India lady with glasses who seems to be the one in charge it's not friendly and watches everyone like a hawk like she's out to catch someone stealing or something stupid. I hate to be this way about a local business but...

It want let me leave a no star or I would .. no hair nets in kitchen one person at table had pizza with hair in food .. kids sticking fingers in pizza on buffet an they were allowed to do so after bringing it to the employees attention. The still slid it to another pizza and left it on there .. I ask for a pizza no sausage to be made and the smart mouth lady said NO . So I said fine I’m not paying for a bar if I don’t get the pizza they were making others pizza by request. So they charged me for all u can eat salad bar and that was fine . We all decided to stop eating immediately and just leave and go somewhere else . So I got up to go pay , my family went to car and I stayed in to pay the bill . Once paying then the same smart mouth lady that said NO to making the pizza said I made u a whole pizza I said u told me no so my family is leaving and the one u made had sausage on it . Then as we were all leaving two waitresses felt the need for no reason to come out the back door into the parking lot to get mine and the other ladies tag number so I felt like I would help them out here is a picture of it . I also have my receipt if anyone would like to see it . I paid for the whole family on one ticket the other lady paid for hers . No worries for me or my family will never come back so plaster my name on ya wall that I’m not allowed cause I can promise we will never be back . Ty as I was a customer that drove 45 min one way that Normally came 1 to 2 times a week , but if your loyal customers don’t mean anything to u we can definitely find another place there plenty of pizza in all towns . Have a blessed Christmas minus my 100 a week spent there ....

I work nearby and I often order the same thing for my lunch 2 or three times per week. I don’t know the name but this lady always charges me an additional 10 dollars. The first time it happened she told me that someone had been ringing up the item wrong. At this time I assumed that was the case and I just payed what she said I owed. I’ve ordered the same exact item multiple times since then and have paid 10 dollars less. I’ve been rung up by multiple employees over the phone and in person who charge me the original price. Today I tried to order the same thing I always get. And it was the woman who told me before that my item got rung up incorrectly. I confronted her that I’ve had it be the cheaper price from multiple other employees. So now she is insisting that she is the only one who knows how to use the cash register correctly. I love the place. And the waitresses are great. But if I have to look in to see who is working or hang up the phone when I hear her voice just to get what seems to be the correct price, then that is not good. Like I said I work very close so often I opt to get pizza inn. But I will be eating at subway from now on. My issue is with whoever that woman is not the business or any other staff. Overall a great place with tasty pizza pie. But I probably won’t be returning because of...
