Bad service good food normally. Tonight we came in and it started off well. The waitress asked for our drink order and then came back in a timely nature for our food order. After that she came back with our salads and then was in the back. We actually wanted to ask for a few other things but a different lady took our plates. When we got our meal mine was supposed to be made with bacon on it and it didn' . When we mentioned it to the lady she asked if I even wanted bacon. They also forgot the pickles for my Mother and the coleslaw for my father. I was given a plate with two pieces of bacon without an apology. I had also ordered two meals to go. Both were supposed to come with fries and one was supposed to have the sauce on the side. Only one came with fries so I asked the lady for the side of fries saying we did not get the fries with the same meal that was supposed to have the sauce on the side. Once the bill came we were overcharged for an extra side of fries. When it was mentioned we could hear the lady in back talking about how we keep complaining. She then brought back the correct amount as though we were being annoying and were just trying to cause her issues. Even with all of that my Mother decided to give her a tip. We came into Whitey’s as an unannounced party of 25+ on a Sunday afternoon in between baseball games at the college. The restaurant/bar was clean and well kept. The staff was extremely accommodating, allowed us to order by player number (individual checks) and very friendly. They were very efficient in taking the orders, making sure everyone was started with drinks and apps, then moving on to our lunch orders. Kitchen staff was definitely on top of things and had absolutely no problems accommodating all our orders while still making sure the other customer’s got their food in a timely manner. The food was definitely better than your average bar food...our orders ranged from simple salads, pork tenderloin sandwich, burgers, wraps and steaks sandwiches. Every order was cooked perfectly and not one was prepared incorrectly. Grilled onions, mushrooms on the steak sandwich were outstanding. Portion sizes were average to larger than average, especially on the tenderloin sandwich...the tenderloin itself literally needed 2 buns to hold it.

In a nutshell, nice atmosphere (sports bar), clean, excellent staff, very good food with large portions and very good service timing. If we ever get the opportunity to play at the college again, we will definitely revisit...

just threw away one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had to start with the website set an a large supreme for 1999… Ordered that with no mushrooms 40 minutes no problem get there doing me a favor and even acknowledge my existence finally get the receipt the pizza was $22 plus tax… No problem the top of the box already food particles and grease spots .., get the pizza home about seven minutes open. The pieces are cut irregular, some huge some small… No problem get the pizza on the plates. The chunks of sausage are about the size of ping-pong balls. The rest of the meat or sparse… And of course, loaded with mushrooms as mentioned order. With no mushrooms… the crust was like thin cardboard, with zero taste very soggy … so where just eat the pizza topping… Which, honestly tasted gross. … the pizza sucked… Ironically, it’s been a year or so since I have been in that place it will be a lot longer now… I had a similar experience the last time… a lesson well learned … no I would...
