This is your All In One spot. Not only is it a traditional Mexican authentic restaurant, but it also had a full restaurant style full bar in the main area along with that main tables, it’s also a Mexican I’ve cream shop, and they also make birthday or celebration cakes. I went in around 10:30 am and it looked like they had just opened because I was the only one there. But everything was ready to go and amazingly clean! The decor was amazing with the colors of the walls, the piñatas hanging on one corner, it’s dim lit because the big huge windows provide great lighting, the front has a full open fridge where any and all kinds of soft drinks and juices are displayed and it looks really neat. Next to the open fridge display is the ice cream fridge. Big signs so you can see all their services and they highly promote with pictures their catering services. This place visually looks top notch and definitely gives that Mexican feel and vibe. I ordered an Al Pastor burrito in a huge fan of Al Pastor. It was ready within a few minutes. Perfectly made, the plate looked neat and well presented. Came with 2 cups of your traditional Green and Red hot sauce. Ordered a coffee which is a usual when I got to Mexican restaurants. To my surprise it was a huge cup and I loved that! Idk if it’s homemade brewed coffee like most restaurants or if it’s from the Necafe Coffee Machine. When it arrived it had this “cappuccino” look to it which I actually liked to be honest. For someone who likes their creamer on the side like most other places do, this one already had it in the coffee which makes me think it was served from the big Nescafé Machine. Sugar provided on the side. But coffee was great honestly. Good spot I would love to come back in the evening to see how it sets once there’s a crowd in here and the evening vibe hits. There was soft Mexican music playing in the background so I can only imagine how fun it can be coming in at night. Great spot all around! Service by the waitress was...
Read more090119 This place is located in a strip mall and a little bigger than it appears. I do hope the lights were off or down because the place is pretty dark, to dark but you wouldn't want it lit brightly up it would look like a cafeteria. No reservations jeans and T shirts will work here. The place was empty when we arrived and stayed that way the whole time we were there but I believe there were a bunch of fest going on. Now I cannot tell you whether or not this tasted like authentic mexican food because I haven't had authentic food in many many years. Our server at the bar which was very small and dark what did have a TV offered us some chips and salsa otherwise I do not know of you actually get that while you're waiting to order or with your meal it does list it on the menu for sale . I My friend ordered the burrito you said it was good I did not try it I ordered the chimi changa which I did not know was going to be as big as a burrito, I have ro admit this was the first time tried one and it was different and I would probably try it again. The food itself is OK the meat wasn't over flavorful and I can't tell you if the cheese on the burrito or chimi changa was actually pump cheese out of a can or imitation cheese melted over the top it just didn't taste or texture wise feel like real cheese. My friend who works with a lot of his phaenix and gets the taste their food said he could not tell me if he thought it was authentic or not. Our server spoke when spoken to but that was it on the interactions and he was the only person we saw the entire time. Not sure if I would say this place had a wow factor in food flavor, I may try it again but just try the street tacos and giveit a second chance. The prices were the same as any Mexican chain of restaurants If not a tad bit higher. This is a place I would say try it for yourself and make your own decision but it's not one I...
Read moreWe wanted to try something local so yes, we googled Mexican restaurants near us as we were traveling through. So glad we did. I had the al carbon (broiled steak) tacos but first. Let's talk about the guacamole. It was so fresh and delicious. Chunky and creamy at the same time with fresh onions and tomatoes and I'm not explaining it well. Picadillo taco dinner for my husband and throughout he kept saying we are coming back. The salsa that came with the chips was a little smoky and tasty. Beer was cold and the service was superb. The gentleman (owner? He was the waiter and barman and maybe helped cook?) Who took care of us was attentive and helpful and very nice and friendly. It's not fancy and it was perfect. Really enjoyed the food and the service. Guacamole, two steak tacos, 2 taco dinner and 4 beers were...
