Today was my first visit to China Palace & it will be my last ! I circled everything on the menu & wrote the quantities of each,& I ordered General Tsos chicken, which I asked if they could make mild to which they said yes. My order was wrong three times ! I had to wait for two additional combination platters while the rest of our order was getting cold. They made the General Tsos chicken HOT with several hot peppers mixed in ! Not what I ordered. I got home and found more disappointment. The fried rice was very pale & had no other ingredients in it other than a few pieces of chive. I ordered the boneless spare ribs as an appetizer. At every other place I've been you got a quart for the same money as they charge for their pint. I asked about it & I was told they don't do quarts anymore. However , this was not mentioned on the menu. Had I known,I would not have ordered it. In general, the food was bland, lacking for flavor. The Shrimp toast we ordered was half the size of everywhere else for the same cost ! If you want duck sauce for your food, you have to pay for it. I have never had to do that before ! Every other place, gives it to you. We love Chinese food, however,we will never come back here again. For a first time experience, it was terrible. I recommend you go...
Read moreI order from China Palace for take out every once in a while. The food is pretty good but can improve on the rice, I feel like I always have to add soy sauce to make it better and even then it really isn’t the best. One thing that is frustrating is I usually order online and this time I ordered I noticed around a $2 processing fee and a $1 convenience fee to order online, okay $3 extra, whatever. Then I get to the restaurant to pick up my food and there is an additional 3% processing fee for card payments even if it’s debit or credit (some places charge that typically just for credit) so I ended up spending an additional $5 in total just to order and pay for my food. Then, I usually like to tip but it’s kinda hard to justify throwing them another couple of bucks after they took $5 already just for purchasing their food. So I guess next time I have to order over the phone and pay in cash to avoid this or just go somewhere else. Also, they definitely over charge for their add ons. I got beef and broccoli and payed $3.50 extra for pork lo mein because their rice isn’t that good and got half of the portion of beef and broccoli I would’ve if I got...
Read moreWorst service around the area. We had placed an order for delivery and the lady on the phone tells us 45 min. An Hour hour goes by and we call she tells us the delivery driver should be there soon. We waited another 45 minutes and we called again and apparently it was delivered to the wrong house. So she said it was delivered to the house on my street but yet the house info she gave me was my neighbors address. So me being petty AF asked my neighbor if he got any food and he said no and I verified that with the cameras I have around my home and ... again I'm petty AF. So in conclusion they forgot to make my order the whole time so they LIED to me instead of being a professional business and actually admitting their mistake. So you already know I am not ordering here anymore nor will I recommend...
