It’s always a good time at Tuckerton Doyle’s. The owners Danny & Lou have checked off literally every box when it comes to what you would expect in a phenomenal no fuss casual dining establishment. They have amazing quality in food, as well as specials that are changed often so you can go eat and try something different if you would like or stick to your usual fav (Highly recommend the Caption Morgan “back on the rack” wings) It’s clean and well kept, they also put a lot into reservations which really has made this place much larger and more comfortable for the wants and needs of each guest; may it be a more intimate experience or hanging out at the bar with friends, there is something for everyone. Their staff and bartenders really make this place special and it attracts a very genuine crowd of people that you are able to see regularly. There is a sense of community in this place which leads to you really enjoying yourself. Each bartender has their own amazing qualities and personality that really makes this pub rise above the rest. Danny & Lou always make sure they come and say hi to each one of their regulars which really makes you feel appreciated. I have nothing but good words to say about Doyle’s in Tuckerton and if your new to the area or just visiting and haven’t been here, this really is a place you should take the time to visit because you won’t be disappointed. New appetizer, steak fried rice…very good, a must get. Plenty of steak and onions, just as good or better as Benihana if you remember that chain. Also new is a bacon wrapped sausage app. Thick sausage and well wrapped bacon. Rest of the dinner was great as usual. Nice staff and beer was ice cold. Never a bad meal! Went there and by happen chance, it was 1/2 way to St. Paddy’s Day. Ordered the St. Paddy egg roll appetizer, thinking there was only 1. 3 came out and they were great. Mixture of corned beef, kraut, potatoes, and carrots, all wrapped up. Filled me up. Had ordered their corned beef and cabbage special. Look at the picture. Had to take it home for the next day dinner. Few places provide the amount and quality!!

My company’s team and I were told over several months to check this restaurant out. So we did on January 15 after training the Pinelands Regional School District staff. It all started off with the soccer refried wings as an appetizer. These were truly the best wings I’ve ever had. Then the lunch options were so good. We truly enjoyed ourselves so much that almost everyone decided to have their cheesecakes. Initially, I wanted my Cheesecake to go. Once I took a taste of it, I finished half of it there and brought the remainder home.

so i was in town catching up at old precovid haunts for the first time in years and thought i would try this. some of the best restaurant time i logged all year if not the best. and i go out. a lot. ask my credit cards. from westfield to princeton to ac and in between if i had to pick the best pub it would be this place. go see the web page, watch the video and that is exactly what you get live and up close. my area of the bar had the best barman ....with alchemy skills..... who multi tasks serving, greeting, suggesting menu items and never a trace of anything other than welcoming. makes a damn good cosmo, and aplomb at making smoked bourbon old fashioned type drinks or suggesting what else could hit the spot. skilled and practiced at the craft. had steak bites. whoa. probably over a half pound of angus cut in planks, sauteed to order. charred and seasoned. craveable. horsey sauce ... fresh and done right. the price was unheard of inexpensive. the video shows the clam steamer plate. it comes out just like on the video with two large garlic toasts larger than a half hoagie. in a huge bowl. this was an appetizer sized like a main with clams just the right size in a nice pile. and savory. good thing there was a spoon too. worth it to savor every slurp. ok i confess by now i wanted some great dessert but was happy with after dinner coffee and sambuca. its times like this i wish i lived back in atlantic county. the check was more than reasonable. elsewhere many times i contended with begrudged service and subpar bartending. and everyone from management and staff to the mannered friendly patrons make this place. i was thinking it

s my new secret goldmine and its a rating...

Ive tried this place 3-4 times in both Tuckerton and Barnegat and I must say I am less than impressed based upon what I heard about the place. The food and service have alway been mediocre, ok burger, just average at best. I was in the Barnegat location the Tuesday night the were closing before the new owners took over, all the staff were worried that night if they even had a job in the morning because none of the owners or managers would let them know what was going on, right there I knew there was poor management and owners. The main reason I am taking the time to write a review was the special on the menu when I was there this past weekend in Tuckerton, Fried Flounder Sandwich for $21.49??? Are you serious??? Im honestly offended you have the audacity to even put that on the menu at the Jersey Shore for that price! I am a fluke/flounder fisherman for life and eat flounder sandwiches weekly and NEVER have I seen somone try to charge that much for a fried fish!!! You should be ashamed trying to charge that much, your burgers and other sandwiches cost half that!! Average food, OK service, horrible prices on specials and poor management to the staff, no need to bother again when there are so many better local spots in Barnegat...
