My recent experience here was very disappointing. I was charged a cash discount even though I paid by credit card. The staff openly discussed this in front of me, clearly aware it was wrong, but no one came back to explain or fix it.

This is completely unacceptable and feels dishonest toward customers. On top of that, the service was damn slow and the food quality was below expectations.

I’m not posting this for any compensation or a free meal — I’m calling attention to poor practices that should never happen. Customers deserve honesty, respect, and accountability, not quiet mistakes and avoidance. Never gonna visit and be aware of this loop hole of slow poison. I recently visited Mandi House with my friends, and it turned out to be more than just a dinner — it was a whole vibe!

The restaurant itself had a warm, welcoming ambiance with traditional Arabic décor, soft lighting, and cozy floor seating that made the evening feel relaxed and special. We went for the chicken and lamb mandi platters, and the flavors were on point. The rice was fragrant and well-spiced, the meat was incredibly tender, and the portions were generous. Everything felt fresh and perfectly balanced — a real treat for mandi lovers!

What made the experience even better is that the owners also run a food truck right outside the restaurant, and it’s a total gem.

After our main meal, we couldn’t resist checking it out. We grabbed a plate of punugulu bajji, which were crispy, hot, and paired beautifully with the chutney. But the highlight was definitely the bun maska with tea. The bun was soft, slightly toasted, and slathered with butter — and the chai? Absolute perfection. Warm, aromatic, and the best way to end the meal.

The combo of a satisfying mandi feast followed by cozy street-style tea and snacks right outside made the whole visit unique and memorable. Hats off to the owners for creating such a complete and flavorful experience — can’t wait...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Old City Food Truck & Mandi House, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience!

First off, the Gobi-65 was absolutely delicious. The flavors were vibrant, and it was cooked to perfection. It’s a must-try for anyone who enjoys a good vegetarian dish.

The highlight of my meal, however, was the Mutton Mandi. It was juicy and flavorful, exceeding all my expectations. The meat was tender, and the spices used were just right, making it a standout dish.

Another delightful surprise was the free chai that came with our meal. It's always a nice touch to enjoy a warm cup of chai, especially when it’s complimentary!

I also have to mention the Malai bun, which was simply awesome. It was soft, creamy, and paired perfectly with the dishes we ordered.

The staff at Old City Food Truck & Mandi House were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Despite the heavy rain outside, they served us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. Their commitment to excellent service truly made our experience memorable.
