So, here we are 4 months later and it’s the same. This time though service has gone down to zero stars. Today there were 4 cars in the drive thru so I went in to try to be faster. All I needed was 2 bagels in a bag, not toasted, not sliced, nothing on them. I waited about 5 minutes before I was even greeted. First the two employees were just talking to each other at the register about an order. Then the cashier went back & forth a few times helping a mobile order, then said she’d be with me in a minute then helped the drive thru. When she came to me I asked for 2 cranberry bagels, just thrown in a bag as they are, and told her I didn’t want to wait though if that needed to go through the food line (as I could see that was very busy and had only one worker) She rings me up, I pay, then she tells the woman working the line my order so I repeated that if it needed to go through the line I didn’t want it, I’ve had that exact situation happen before with these exact employees. My 2 bagels in a bag had to wait until after a bunch of breakfast sandwiches and took forever. She got rude and huffy saying there were other customers. I said I know but it takes 2 seconds to throw 2 bagels in a bag and then this order is gone. She was still rude and huffy saying the other woman was going to do it right now and ran off back to the drive thru. So I told her that’s all I was asking for so I don’t know why she’s getting upset. I hadn’t seen the response to my last review but I have now so I will follow up with that email. I’m not trying to get anyone fired in this economy (or any) but the customer service desperately needs to be improved. If it’s a staffing issue, then yes, more staff is needed in the morning. If not then she just can’t handle the business of morning. There were 4 cars in the drive thru, one set of 2 people behind me in line and 1 mobile order that I could see. It shouldn’t take 10-15 minutes to grab 2 very easy bagels before work. Starbucks gets me in and out of their busy drive thru in about 3 minutes. On a positive note! They finally didn’t burn the cranberry bagels! Yum!
This location still has a lot of work to do on getting it together. I’ve been sitting at the drive thru window 10+ minutes with one car in front of me and no one even near the window. What are they doing?? It’s been slow most of the 10 or so times I’ve been so far. I’m thrilled to have an Einsteins this close! Hopefully it will all come...
Read moreI recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Einstein Bros. Bagels that I feel compelled to share. My visit was nothing short of a disaster from start to finish, and the level of service left much to be desired.
Upon entering the establishment, I was hopeful to enjoy a quick and satisfying bagel breakfast with my 3 kids. However, the nightmare began when I placed my order. Despite there being a minimal number of customers, I found myself waiting for an excruciating 25 minutes without any updates or acknowledgment from the staff. Priority was given to the drive thru orders than people waiting in the store.
To make matters worse, when the staff finally attended to me, they nonchalantly informed me that they had run out of several types of bagels I had originally ordered. The lack of communication and organization was astounding. One would expect that such crucial information would be relayed to customers promptly, avoiding unnecessary wait times.
The pinnacle of this disastrous experience, however, was the manager's (Cecilina) handling of the situation. Instead of expressing any form of genuine apology or sympathy for the inconvenience caused, the manager exhibited a shocking level of rudeness. Her body language spoke volumes as she dismissively gestured for me to keep quiet when I voiced my dissatisfaction. It was a clear display of unprofessionalism and a lack of concern for customer experience.
As if the poor service wasn't enough, when the manager finally decided to address the issue, she returned my money in cash without offering any verbal apology. The entire exchange felt cold and detached, leaving me bewildered at the lack of basic customer service etiquette. I had to convince my kids and enjoy brunch at another store.
In conclusion, my experience at Einstein Bros. Bagels was a disaster from the moment I stepped through the door. The combination of an unreasonably long wait, a lack of transparency about product availability, and a manager with a complete disregard for customer satisfaction has left me with an overwhelmingly negative impression. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a wakeup call for the establishment to reevaluate its customer service practices and strive for a more positive and professional...
Read moreBefore anyone comes for me I work in the food industry and “I get it”, but if you go to the new Ensteins CHECK YOUR ORDER. Super exhausted this AM from a late shift last night and was driving home from taking my daughter to work and I was starving decided try out the new Enstein Bagels. Super sweet girl at the window, there were zero cars in front or behind me had a nice chat with her about Shmear and how I’ve never been fond of it. She let me know the burrito I wanted could not have the shmear removed and offered the bagel which could. I said great I will do that without the shmear. I know better, I should have checked it but I didn’t. I was exhausted. I open up the sandwich and shmear everywhere. So I call the store and I’m like I was just there and let them know the issue. I was then told “we will make it again just come in and grab it, unfortunately we are just learning and we are not magic.” I get the just learning, but it was not a difficult order and no one was asking for any type of magic. Just a “let us make it right” would have sufficed. Y’all know 380 in the AM is not an easy ask for anyone. I don’t feel me going back in for a second time for them to make my sandwich was the correct way to make it right and at this point I was more invested in energy, time, and cost (gas and ingredients) than the actual store was. I honestly didn’t want it that bad. Against my better judgement I went back but after sitting behind 6 cars for a sandwich I wasn’t even sure I would like. I decided it wasn’t worth $9, my gas, and definetly not 40 minutes. I’m so glad we have something other than chicken but for the time gas and money I will continue to get my breakfast at...
